              • Wide open ?? i think Spies will have to get 8 points more than Haga every race from now on, to win the championship!!

In my opinion it'll only delay the inevitable !! Spies for 2010 !

                • Just a look back at the previous seasons , Haga aint that strong in the tracks that are to follow ! He ruled Nurburgring last year but i don t remember any other track where he was strong and dominant ! But Ducati might make the difference this time ....The only reason i back Spies is the ability for him to learn the track quickly and the american aggression to DO or DIE ( Assen is an example ) ! So according to me the Chanmpionship is wide open !

                  • I watched the first race. No opinions except

                    spies+ wsbk@miller = boring

It was a painful race to watch. Haga san was hurt and it seemed no one else could match Spies. The worst of 2009.

                    • I feel so bad for Leon... last lap ouch!!!
and MF is really looking quite threatening in 3rd spot. the championship is between these guys for sure. i was quite impressed he kept pace with Spies throughout the race. Kudos to him.

as for Spies catching up Haga... 25 pts for win and 20 for second place. 16 for 3rd. couple of more bad results for Nori and we may have a rookie champion...

It'll take more than a couple of bad races! And dont forget its Ben thats been dropping bikes more than Nori. We're just halfway thru into the season, so lets see how it goes...

Cant deny that the championship is open!

Could not see race 2 as race 1 had totally turned me off, mebbe its the nature of this one line circuit.

                        Get well soon Haga!
All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

Last year it was checca and Kiyo??? where when... oh you mean besides haga, troy and bayliss... well donington park and miller were the only hot spots for these guys last year.. or wait was it brands hatch...??? think kyo won there... and unfortunatly we lost craig jones (R.I.P) battling it out for the win... will never forget that win.

hopkins in SBK??? well i really dont think he can bring what Elbows has bought to SBK.. if there is one guy that i would like to see from the motogp grid is Mr. Hadyen.. man i would love to see hadyen and Spies go at it... oooohh boy.. . Mr. Baros well... he had hung up his boots so it seems... he made a big mistake of going back to motogp so that has pretty much ended his hopes.. as for Sete.. he once said that he would never ever race superbikes... so i totally doubt it..

' My past is my present and it is called Aprilia'

                              • i used to adore Max some 10 years ago. his attitude totally changed once he go ton the top step to face KRJR, Doohan & Criville. gone were the days of beating the luca cadalora's the harada's and the caparossi's... max has done a fantastic job over the years but he surly lacks constancy.. i am sure that max is a good developer along with Nakano but Aprilia needs maybe some one like Carl Crutchlow or a Laverty to really start winning at the top most level. it will be difficult but it can surly happen.

i remember how he helped in developing that Marlboro Yamaha. especially with all that rainey's experience that came to the table it din't do squat. never the less Yamaha did win the title in 2000 (last motogp title since rossi yamaha era) but guess even that was over shadowed thanks to McCoy, laconi and checca. with all but laconi getting wins.

Summing it up. MAx will surly win a race this year. a couple next and then a couple the year after that. untill aprilia gets some crazy waco from WSS that rages a riot on the WSBK circut. (and no that wont be rossi)
