Edit : And Ben Spies' bad luck continues !! It seems its a pattern for him, win a race, have trouble in the other !!

Who cares ! they might add glamour that s it. They have no money to invest to become competitive , and they have no money to bring in the best riders . Even Foggy won t be able to bring them back ! And now Harley owns them ! I doubt there must be debate inside their own company whether to send Buell or MV fr racing ( if they ever do ) !

Considering Buell is already there in AMA supersports, where in a move more retarted than the "Ducati and 1200cc v-twin rule", the 1200 Buells are allowed to race with 600cc inline 4s !! (again its only my opinion)

So, maybe they have probably had it with Buell and have MV Agusta in WSBK !!
It seems Spies had rear tyre issues, that made him suddenly lose all feedback from the rear !! But good effort on him to charge from 21st to under top ten position !! But he is frustrated, clearly visible by the way he slammed the tank !! I'd think the title chances have really realistically gone now !! Unless there is more than one DNF from Haga !!

And looks like the move to Ohlins is really working for Ten Kate !! Hope Yamaha doesn't sabotage it, since it owns Ohlins !!

Well.. you don't need to coz who cares where it came from first.. Yamaha made it popular in today's motorcycling world by putting it in the M1 & refining it to the level it can be but to a street bike. The reviews of some famous mags & sites.. as refered by Suren, don't really matter in the racing world, coz R1 is still winning more races than Blade, GSXR & ZX-10r & RSV4 in WSBK.!!

I'm not too well informed about the racing world, I'm no GURU and I don't pretend to be but i like your post... it makes a lot of sense!!

Actually, he had a slipping clutch which he repaired while racing. If he loses the fight for the title this year it seems Yamaha will have to take the blame. Too many glitches already. I feel for the guy. He's been racing his heart out...

And about the R1 winning races ! If u accept that the 2004 GP championship was won because of Rossi ! Then these SBK races are won cos of Ben spies ! Proof : Just look at the grid ! how many R1 s do u find ? And the other Tom Sykes ! just try to know more about him ! He s as good as the other guys like Smrz,LAconi etc ! but where is he ? The new R1 is only as good as he is right now ! or else he ll be fighting with the private team guys like Bryne, Smrz etc who ride the 1098r !

And ya when you are less informed about the racing world you will find sense in Satellite s post !
