Thumbs up HMSI launches new Aviator and Stunner.

HMSI launches new Aviator and Stunner.

New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Sunday launched three new versions of its scooter Aviator and motorcycle CBF Stunner, priced between Rs 45,300 and Rs 54,509 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

"With changing lifestyles, Honda will aggressively expand and meet diversified needs of Indian customers. We are sure that customers will appreciate the refreshing look of new Aviator and CBF Stunner," Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) Vice President (Sales & Marketing) N K Rattan said in a statement.

Both being sturdy and cost effective performers, even in the worst city riding conditions, the Honda Aviator and the CBF Stunner now get a bit more glamorous for the road, as Honda introduces an entire range of dual tone colour schemes and metallic paint jobs for both the models here in India.

The company said both the new products will be available in HMSI dealerships across India from end of September, 2011.

Aviator:

The 102 cc New Aviator has been launched in two variants, Standard and Deluxe and will be priced at Rs 45,300 and Rs 50,400, respectively.

The New Aviator will now be available in two new premium and refreshing colour options , namely Berry Purple and Sunbeam White, along with the three original colours that the scooter was launched in 2008.

The new muscular metallic skin for the Aviator should blend well with the scooter’s overall build and tall boy stance. All other features on the freshly painted Aviator, like its signature front disc brake and comfortable KVTA seats will continue to come as standard on models featuring the new look.

Stunner CBF 125:

The CBF Stunner on the other hand, has received some funky designer stripes in black, white and grey along with the logo on its front cowl, making the 125 cc sports machine look every bit its actual DNA. The stripes will accompany two new refreshing colours for the CBF Stunner, Candy Palm Green and Black, which add to the motorcycle’s existing two shades already on offer in the market.

The new graphics on the CBF Stunner are quite in sync with the bike’s otherwise sporty characteristics and with its existing power, superior initial acceleration & overtaking pickup abilities should prove to be a complete lower displacement sports machine for interested buyers here in India.

The new version of the 125 cc CBF Stunner will come for Rs 54,509 (Ex-showroom, Delhi)

Guys, read carefully what I have to say. From 2 different and reliable sources, I got the info that there's a 102cc engine in Aviator, while so far its been 109cc.
I'm not sure of this info as yet, although the links do appear to be. But if this is true, it could mean the old engines used in HH Pleasure, Dio, etc. maybe tuned or maybe not.
So far, Honda's official site continues to say its 109cc but maybe its not updated yet.

I checked Stunner's performance and other specs and they seem to be the same. Its just a new paintjob it seems.

^^^ Agreed; Stunner looks good; looks like Hero Honda was poor in making stickers; shows Honda has great experience on the same

Why doesn't HMSI first concentrate on making their bikes available at showrooms instantly and then bother about all these stickers?
Today, no HMSI bike is available at less than 1 month of waiting period. The CBR250R has a wait period of 8 months. Unicorn and Activa, as usual 6 months. The stunner and aviator are hardly seen on the roads, but still command a wait period of 1-4 months.

Stunner looks pretty good in its category but even good looks can't overcome low power output for a biker..even i had stunner before my ZMR..but it lacks power

stunner is a good bike for it's segment, you can't expect a 125 cc bike to ride like a 200+cc bike

But isn't the power output of a Stunner lesser than it's 125cc counterparts?
