--Came back home after a month and updated this status on fb..about 300likes and still counting..
Its now that I realize why people genuinely liked it and why they dream of riding to Ladakh,the top of the world !

I had started writing the trip log even before heading there but am posting it now.

"Yes even I will be riding to the top of the world this year and nothing else matters!

Interviews,New Job,money,leaves,LOP,courses,exams,society's outlook blah blah nothing..nothing at all.

All that matters is support from parents,friends,relatives;the passion to travel,getting close to nature and all I know is that this place is really worth it !

I have been reading and seeing pictures of this place for quite long and getting totally lost. Started reading travelogues generally late on a weekend and read them throughout the night right upto the early morning hours! Wish i had previously studied with that amount of passion too Ahh...nevermind but thats what effect the place had on me. Dont know what will happen when i actually go there ! "

I always told my parents i would go there on my bike..and they laughed about it ! yes the Pulsar135LS...no matter whatever others had to say about it. 135cc only ? and what not.. time and again I have been proving that its not just about the bike but the biker ! Also giving due credits to the underestimated bike !

I had no core plans till this year to go there. But it all started with a message from Akil(a biker friend and colleague who also knows my dad). He messaged me asking if I was going to go to Leh this year and i just laughed(thinking my parents would never allow me)and replied back saying no. Later I msgd him back asking why did he ask ; and got to know that my dad himself was telling him that I wanted to ride there. My dad, himself talking about this was surprising for me and it meant he wouldnt have a problem. All I had to do is manage things on my end and convince my parents.Which I eventually did !

I started my planning regardless of me eventually making it there or even starting the ride.A month went searching for things and planning when I got to know many of my friends are going there and so it wouldnt be problem finding good company. But the problem was everyone was transporting their bike to Amritsar/Delhi/Jammu and then riding it from there.(which is sensible if you are not seeing any place on the way).I still was hesitant to transport the bike knowing the damages that can happen plus I didnt have enough time to do the bookings too ! I got to know Tower Dada(Tushar Jadhav), would be riding all the way so told him the idea and asked if I could join him. He most willingly accepted my request and was more than happy to welcome me ! That's it there was no looking back then and we got going with all the shopping,bike servicing and related preparation.

Jokes apart...the world we are living in today is changing everyday. Sometimes for the better but, for most part, the worse. We are staring straight into the eyes of inhumanity,corruption, terrorism, global warming, child abuse, domestic violence etc etc etc. The government no doubt is taking steps to solve these problems but, unless the people awaken to the problems we are facing, a long lasting solution cannot be found.

I alone cannot encompass all of the problems faced by humanity today and thats why always call upon people to work towards solving them for a peaceful and sustainable future.

Some might say, I talk about solving the problem of global warming and at the same time I take a petrol-bike for the ride. What is the relevance here? True. I did it because that was the only choice of vehicle I had. Plus I didnt have any sponsors but all the money put in was from the hard-earned savings. I know finding a sponsor and going out spreading some message is a smart thing to do which I would definitely recommend others to do as well but this was just another leisure ride for me without any kind of obligations.

My sole aim was to go out there,meet all the different people,live with them,get to know about their lifestyle,learn from them,obviously without giving them much trouble.

And thats exactly what I did. Here is a summary of what all I did for the 25days.
