even i find it amusing.recently in Maharashtra there was some shortage.during this all dealers minted money by selling normal fuel at premium rates.in our city IOC doing the biggest business.we consumers dont have any kind of measure to actually gauge the octane level of the petrol or leave that whether they are really providing premium speed or normal one.they have their associations and organised sector.we consumers dont.

Also company owned petrol pumps are better then other petrol pumps as probability of fuel adulteration is very less.

That's true. Unlike the PSU oil companies, Shell effects change in prices vis a vis global crude oil prices at the pump more rapidly than the PSU companies. With the current trend, the gap is set to come down as the PSU companies don't seem to be willing to reduce their prices.

Question Where are the company owned pumps in Bangalore???

Can someone please list out the company owned pumps in Bangalore??

I'm yet to find one and I find that the smoothness and mileage have gone down drastically after I came to bangalore. I've only filled from normal fuel pumps. Mileage has come down to 31kmpl on my ZMA (normal riding), whereas when I filled from company owned HP pump from Chennai I had got 34-37 kmpl consistently (34 when ridden hard).

I last filled from a BP pump near Diary circle and found the mileage has actually gone up to 33 kmpl. Considering Bangy traffic, thats good.
