thanks for the info.

i have a question,
i have discover 135 dts-i.
i am using MGS from bosch till now. also i have used NGK in my standard 350 and thuderbird , i found MGS works better then NGK. it may be due to some duplicate Spark plugs also, i dont know wether it was original one or so, i got it in 700 bucks from mumbai.
now, i am a little bit confused that whether i should continue with the MGS or switch to NGK??

Default NGK Iridium

Hi guys,

I recently got NGK Iridium for my bullet 350(CI). Initially everything was looking good, but yesterday when i observed, i saw black smoke coming from the silencer. When i checked the spark plug, it was badly fouled, full of carbon.
I tested the plug and it was not giving strong spark which could be seen easily, but i was able to hear some tik tik sound. The other normal spark plug is giving a spark. Do i need to change the wiring or iginition coil?
I think the dealer has given me a duplicate iridium, i am attaching a pic of the plug, can you guys please let me know if this is good or not
Plug - NGK Iridium
Model - BR6HIX
Using on bullet 350 CI.

P.S :- The bike is running fine, pick up is also fine, getting 27kmpl.

I bought 2 NGK Iridium spark plugs for my Bajaj Pulsar from PlanetDSG last week, which set me back by Rs.1295.When I went to get them fitted in to my bike at the Bajaj service center - they told me this model is meant for the Pulsar 150 and 180 and they said it would cause problems in my bike and refused to fit it.
I then went to a Castrol Bike Zone center which is reputed to have very good and skillful mechanics. They told me the length of the NGK iridium is greater than the standard factory kitted BOSCH spark plugs and said it would cause problems if I decided to fit it to the bike. It would damage the pistons and the engine the mechanics said. I asked them to fit it and start the bike -- the bike sounded funny and they quickly removed the spark plugs and asked me to return them. I took their word since the mechanic who advised me against the NGK iridium and decided to fit the spark plugs into my bike was at that time servicing a Ninja 650.

Kindly let me know if I should go ahead and fit the NGK CR9EIX sparkplugs or return them to PlanetDSG?
CR9EIX is recommended for Bajaj XCD 135 and Pulsar 135 on NGK's site..I'm too thinking of fitting it on my XCD...If it could not be fit on your bike, then most probably I'll not be able to fit it too.
What kind of funny sound are you mentioning??

Question Help needed regarding spark plugs.

Hi guys i need a help regarding spark plugs what is the difference between NGK G POWER CR7E & CR9E? I changed spark plug of my FIERO to NGK G POWER CR9E as i couldn't find CR7E, My friend was telling CR9E is only for bajaj bikes and CR7E is for tvs bikes is it? Will it cause any harm to engine?

seems you have a lot of carbon deposits there..there're more than 1 answer for you..
1. maybe you've got the TOO TIGHT valve tappet clearance
2. maybe you're running on a wrong heat number [too cold] of plug (you said you're using BR6HIX right? what's the stock plug is? BR6H?)
3. if those option not the issue, then you're running on a RICH mixture.. (wrong jetting, wrong mixture calibration, or maybe a DIRTY air cleaner?)
4. you need to replace you're plug

forget about the 4th answer since you mention black smoke from silincer..black smoke means "RICH" mixture

let me tell you my story,
my RTR got BOSCH UR5DDC as stock plug, and give me alot of problem (says the engine RPM suddenly ROSE up to 4000RPM without any throttle!!!)
lately the tvs guys never sold those plug anymore, instead they're seeling UR3DDC..tried it once, guess what? it suddenly ROSE to 2500RPM without any throttle!!! well, better than 4000RPM right? then i switch to NGK and DENSO plug, never had any problem with those plug anymore..
what a damn bosch plugs!
