When did the P180 become an awesome handler? I guess the only good handling Pulsar is the new P135.

RTR180:
1. Vibes & tappet noise are common with almost every RTR. Its like its unique feature.
2. Its a race bred engine & fun to ride in city.
3. Gets really painful on the highways atleast for me & iam 5 8".
4. Better handler than the Pulsar anyday.
5. Tyres are not so grippy.
6. One of the best clutch out there. Can take almost any amount of abuse.

Pulsar 180:
1. Overall a smoother engine than RTR
2. It isnt a race bred engine & doesnt perform as good as an RTR180.
3. The seating is much more comfortable. A better commuter bike than RTR180. Can take you on highways as well with comfort.
4. Lousy handler.
5. Better tyres.
6. Pathetic clutch response when ripping real hard.

I somehow feel TVS service is more pathetic than Bajaj.

Therefore, Pulsar 180 has a lot calm, stress free engine. P180 has a proven engine which is working for 4 or more years. Thus, in my personal opinion you should go for 180. it has a decent mileage of 45+ and is a good handler + has more stability at high speeds than A180.

If u are plaining to go for the Apache 180 Its a better Choice as the performance which u are gonna gfet far better than Pulsar 180 at the as the
ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS For TVS Apache RTR 180 are

ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS

Displacement:177.4ccEngine:Single Cylinder, 4 StrokeMaximum Power:17.3 Bhp @ 8500 rpmMaximum Torque:15.5 Nm @ 6500 rpmGears:5 SpeedClutch:Multi Plate Wet TypeBore:0Stroke:0

But for Pulsar 180
ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS

Displacement:178.6ccEngine:Single Cylinder, 4 Stroke, DTSiMaximum Power:17 Bhp @ 8500 rpmMaximum Torque:14.2 Nm @ 6500 rpmGears:5 SpeedClutch:Wet Multiplate ClutchBore:63.5Stroke:56.4No. of Cylinders:1

as the specification says that the power which u are gonna get with the Apache is better than the Pulsar .... as well as the looks are also good and if u looking for Speed Apache RTR 180 gives u a Top Speed:125kph with 0 to 60: 4.35 sec

a180's performance is not FAR better but just better than p180.in initial pick-up there is noticable diff but at the top end p180 does give good competition
even tvs claims top speed of 124 kmph fr rtr180,which in actual would b even lesser..........

What about vibrations?

Why are u always against pulsars?

If I have to choose , I will take RTR 180 just because......

I have a 220!

Both are good machines.
Pulsar 180> more relaxed(smooth but RPM building is slower)
RTR 180 > more aggressive(slightly better throttle response and even better vibrations)

Vibrations are nothing.. It doesn't matters much.. when I had a doubt between FZ/apache I asked here and people here just were saying there are so much vibes in the bike (Apache) I read many threads people were all talking about vibes and all... But when I test rode it I thought for this little thing they are making a bike look bad?.. Vibs are nothing atleast for me The only thing I found bad in Apache is its Suspension and nothing else..

And why don't I like pulsar is because all around me is.. pulsar pulsar pulsar.. pulsar is more common than passion here.. Pulsar handling sucks infront of R15, ZMA , FZ, APACHE and all which is one of the most important factor which many doesn't consider..

And now bajaj is making P150, P180, P220S all looking same with small small differences.. next will be P135 in P150 design and P150 in P180 design and P180 in 220s design and P220S with a slight change in look lol.. that is what I don't like.. And it is completely my opinion

Let there be the power torque or anything in the pulsar but in the end I find something missing in the bike thats it.. and that is all my opinion...
