But when I test rode it I thought for this little thing they are making a bike look bad?.. Vibs are nothing atleast for me The only thing I found bad in Apache is its Suspension and nothing else..

And why don't I like pulsar is because all around me is.. pulsar pulsar pulsar.. pulsar is more common than passion here.. Pulsar handling sucks infront of R15, ZMA , FZ, APACHE and all which is one of the most important factor which many doesn't consider..

And now bajaj is making P150, P180, P220S all looking same with small small differences.. next will be P135 in P150 design and P150 in P180 design and P180 in 220s design and P220S with a slight change in look lol.. that is what I don't like.. And it is completely my opinion

Let there be the power torque or anything in the pulsar but in the end I find something missing in the bike thats it.. and that is all my opinion...
My god!..You fired at pulsar aficionados very arrogantly..
    Be gentle dear..

Anyways,Like you I too feel Pulsars are common. There's not a single place in India where people are not aware of this.So popular is it that I vividly remember a few months back when I was outside my home polishing my brand new RTR,a saint comes and the conversation goes like this:

    Saint:Nayi bike hai.
    Me:Haanji.
    Saint:Kitne ki padi.
    Me:70k.
    Saint:Accha Pulsar hai..!!
I could do nothing but laughed.
    You see,Everyone just loves it..!

So,it is common doesn't mean it's bad.And not everyone out there planning to buy a bike comes to xbhp and asks for help.To many it's only Pulsars they believe. And when they go to the showroom to get their good old Pulsar they get confused between all them(P135,P150,P220,P180,P220S) and they get themselves a P220S instead of the P150.So you just cannot blame the Pulsars..blame Bajaj or the showroom staff for that matter..

^^ Atleast, they come in different color schemes(Yellow,Orange and white)..
But I am dead confused to differentiate between the all-black theme Pulsars..

            Ok. Sorry if I disturbed.
I do have respect to all bikes apaches,pulsars,r15s fz etc unlike you.
Pulsar is common here around me as well. That's what success of a brand.

I like P220 over puny bikes like fz,p150,gs 150R etc because I need power and torque, and when its offered at an affordable price no more question for me.
You may argue about the quality.. but again I am so proud that bajaj and TVS are improving every year.

Guys the thread starter had made up his mind and he is taking a180, so there is no need for rat race that mine bike is better than urs. both are good bikes with certain good chars in each of them.

LOL. Agreed pulsar is very common. Its like people ask for 'Bisleri' when they want a bottle of 'kinley' mineral water. The flip side is its so common it goes unnoticed. In my neighbourhood, small kids call out 'Karizma' when I pass, or in traffic I've heard people calling 'aa Karizma' to get my attention at times .

eeerrr. I'm sure people on FZ,GS or other 150a wont feel very respectful by the term "Puny". Smaller capacity may sound better . BTW a 220 is just a couple of millimeters bigger than other 150s in dimension and 60 to 70 odd CCs more. God forbid when one compares a 1000 to 220. Would that be Tweeny weeeny moped? Truth is, we're all riding some of the smallest motorcycles on the planet

So much for OT. Anyway The thread starter seems to have zeroed on his choice and besides difference in both pulsar and apache is too small to have any substantial advantage over the other.

+1 on most of the content except for this one bit.
Ride one and know more about it... The RTR is one chirpy flickable little rogue, take both the bikes to a track and you will know whats the difference.

                      A180 vs P180 - I would buy none! Would rather go for a 220S

I am not regretting any thing dude? FZ is one of the best descision I took.... it is fun to ride it.. and I never done any highway commuting and I have also not bought the bike for that.. I am city commuter and thats the bike is meant for.. atleast FZ justifies its role as lord of the streets unlike pulsars which are confused what are they track bikes, or are they commuter or are they meant for stunting LOL! (jack of all trades and master of none having a non-reliable engine

I was not even interested in bikes until I saw FZ.. I never had any issues with this bike whereas my friends with P180 / P150 have got there engines changed under warranty haha !!

It looks beats everything in indian two wheels except the R15/ZMR/FAZER..

And I don't like to travel on the most common bike in india and the bike which handles like a truck.. (pulsar) my opinion

Apache is a machine which I think comes closer to fz/r15 only..

The difference between an iPhone and a Nokia phone is the difference between pulsars and yamaha indian bikes.. and I prefer an iPhone

and I guess the op has already decided on Apache which is a great descision congrats for your bike buddy..
