I am planning to buy a new 180cc bike.
I will be mostly using it for city commuting for about 25kms / day, and sometimes weekend trips of about 200 kms a side. My height is 5'11'' and I weigh around 75 kgs. I would have proffered apache 180, but I heard it gives lot if vibes at mid range and stock rubbers aren't that good. Please suggest.. |

yes RTR180 is a VFM and performance oriented bike... it vibrates between 4-6k RPM, after that its butter smooth... and i think its more fuel efficient, mine gives 42-46kmpl...
and most important, 'White' one makes you stand APART from crowd not a part of crowd... ![]() (BOTY) too...

at 5'11.. i think you should give the RTR a miss.. unless you want to look like a giant on the bike and are in love with the phenomenon called "bike pains".

My vote too goes for the RTR.as a package, it's simply irresistible and minor niggles can be overlooked imo... Also, vibes is not much of an issue as projected...d rubber though could improve but unless you are into serious peg scraping/cornering etc,the stock ones should do just fine. D pulsar too comes as a finely packaged machine but d apache betters it.

taller guys will usually be more comfortable on the pulsar 180 UGIV. Better check out the bikes personally.

Therefore, Pulsar 180 has a lot calm, stress free engine. P180 has a proven engine which is working for 4 or more years. Thus, in my personal opinion you should go for 180. it has a decent mileage of 45+ and is a good handler + has more stability at high speeds than A180.
