I see 3 contenders here

1) Pulsar 135 CC 4 valve - Dam good pickup, and looks are not bad, plus mileage should be at 50-55... reliablitiy ? it's bajaj, nuff said
2) Dazzler - Calm engine, but it's bulletproof, mileage is above 55 (one of my friend gets 60) Pick up is at par with pulsar 135, but top speed would be low compared to P135.
3) GSX 150 R - It's got 6 gears, gives 50+ mileage, bulletproof engine, top speed better than above mentioned bikes and yes it's got that shinny Digital console

Looks are subjective, if i were in your place and my budget and on going expense was being under surveillance, i would buy myself a SUZUKI GSX 150 R and call it a day.

@The_Lone_Rider: I appreciate bringing a discussion for your bike investment.
Please don't get bogged down by your classmates riding bikes and you not. As xbhp always recommend you to abide the rules, would expect you to not to venture on bikes without license even though you have been illegally riding two wheelers.

With regards to bike purchase, on contemplating your requirement and the bikes offered in the market and taking a decision, would all depends what kind of rider are you, i.e. city commuter, tourer or want to do both.

If I were you would first obtain driving license and look forward to buy a bike. Who knows, by the time you get the license there could be new bikes in the market to choose from.

@OP: If at all you want to bike any Honda, book soon so that you can have it on your 18th b'day. Check around to see the average waiting period for the bikes of your interest.

I will get a license don't worry! At least a learner's for sure! And then i'll join driving school in vacations to get a permanent LMV license so that i can ride both cars and bikes legally. This is just early planning and researching phase.

And i want a bike both for City riding and touring (trips every now and then).

I don't think P135 (I like it's finishing and looks) is faster or better in anything than Unidaz! Anyways P135 and GSX150R (i don't like the looks, P2W ratio low, spares & service centers are hard to come by) aren't my cup of tea. Former is small latter too big, as heavy as Karizma.

My friend's cousin works in Honda showroom here so no waiting period for me. He told my friend, i can get UniDaz delivery on the spot.

When asked which one is better, Uni or UniDaz? He said Uni has lot of maintenance. UniDaz is better.

@Sri - you read this one?

@Lonerider - I've few question to ask you...
1. What's the maintenance cost* that you can afford every months?
2. What's the fuel cost* that you can afford every day
3. What's the number of years that you're looking to own this motorcycle even if Suzuki starts selling R1 for half the price of what it is selling now?

*Pls quote the number in Rs & not in percentage.

Hahahaha Nice joke that, about the percentage

I'll regularly use that bike for 6-10 years. Fuel cost? Not much! 1 Litre for 2-3 days i guess. Maintenance, i have no idea about what it costs?, i can afford oil though
