    Well, so thats clear! u Want a mileage of 45+. The options according to me which will provide you that sort of mileage, without comprising too much on performance, with contemporary styling suitable for a youngster like you are-

    Pulsar 135- The performance is better/at par with most of the 150CC bikes. gives a mileage of 55 even with stunting!!

    Apache RTR 160- Better performer than P135, a mileage of 45-50 under normal riding conditions, if ripped continuously then 37-38.

    And well about reliability, its all about maintainance. Please refrain from branding products as unreliable just because they are from a particular company. One my xbhpian friends has a 2004 Pulsar 150 with 60000Kms+ on odo. The Bike still performs well with a respectable top whack of 110-120. (with a wider tyre that too). Where as i had a 2 year old Unicorn (now sold) which was ripped quite a bit!. it used to return 32-35 Kmpl. Camshaft changed at 15000kms, Block piston changed at 24000Kms. How about that? Bulletproof, eh?

    MY opinion - Get an apache RTR 160 Hyper edge and call it a day!!
    (before you ask about RTR 180, let me tell you it wont fit your mileage criteria!!)
    RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

      * Awesome looks
      * Good Mileage
      * Good Power
      * Digital Console
      * Build Quality
      * Reliability and Maintenance
      * Should be worth every penny

      The above are your requirements...
      Here are bikes that will meet your needs, test ride these bikes and decide....
      GS150R/Hunk/Dazzler/Unicorn/FZ-X (can't include FZ-S beauty here as you require min 45kmpl, Fz can give max.45kmpl, you may try CBZ-Xtreme as well)

        Nothing from Hero Honda except Karizma R. That company is screwed up big time, i don't want to buy a bike with uncertain future prospects. Never been a liker of Hunk, it's full of plastic muscle (i love that Uni engine sound though). My friend's Hunk returns 45 maximum, too low for a 150cc.

        What do you guys say about the Apache RTR Fi.

          Just my thoughts...

          *All bikes are plastic only.
          *All 150cc bikes will give around 45-50 kmpl depending on maintenance and riding styles (except FZ-16).
          *Hero Honda is not screwed up, the contract with Honda ends only after 2014. You will get each and every spare even after 7 years from now.

          Don't think too much and buy the one that you heart says.

              If ZMA, you have to compromise on mileage, but you get an excellent tourer.

                    read this...

                    ZMA's mileage is between 30-40 depending on riding conditions and riding style. At 100 speeds on highway you will get around 33 kmpl. At 80 speeds you will get around 38 kmpl. In city, it varies between 35-40 kmpl with normal acceleration. Under hard acceleration, it might go down to 30 kmpl also. It all depends on how you twist the throttle and at what RPM you shift the gears.

                        You are totally confuse

                        If you do like that than every bike have some minor and major problem here some thing you have to sacrifice because power equal to low mileage and mileage equal to low power is seem look like that you will take out your bike only when every traffic light turn green which is not possible so Attention is need with concentration and go for reliable and low maintenance so the money you can save is equal to fuel

                          Now i'm considering Stunner.

                          I think i'll probably buy it. I love the way it looks (I like fared bikes, for me it looks better than Karizma), i like the sound -- typical honda engine stealthy sound, mileage is also awesome blossom, Tubeless MRF tyres, it's affordable

                          Export quality bike (exported to Europe from India, best seller in 125cc in Europe) Total Win-Win

                          Cons:-

                          A bit less power on paper, but on the road it does 0-60 in 5.2 -- I'm not going to race infact no one does but sometimes, just to save my ego (which i do even with the 65cc scooty)

                          What's your say gurus

                          This is gonna be my first bike.

                            Fully Analogue console with Tachometer, Lately i came to know and realized Digital consoles are not long lasting and atleast not accurate most of the times.

                            Has Top speed equal to the P150

                            And hey it's a Honda.

                            I have deep respect for Honda and credit to that goes for my Grandpa who had a Honda Eterno (i had been with him to buy it) and it was the most comfy & loveable scooter, it's almost 8 year old now and still it is butter smooth and i had ridden it once for a few meters. It could also pop wheelies

                            I love Honda logo.

                            And somehow i don't like naked bikes unless they're big (so not totally satisfied with apache looks).

                              are u sure...? this time you wana buy Stunner . Do one thing just forget about you College friends advise for a sec dont even think about what they'll talk about you bike think about your self and then decide what you want and why ? Even 2 years back i was going through same situation People were yelling at me for choosing RTR-Efi as my first ride but then still i went for it and see its been 2.3years and so far i've clocked 52000km on my Rtr-Efi . Went to many places/tours and did hell lot of cornering and had lots of lots of fun while leaning on a corner and scraping foot-pegs of my bike .
                              So my advise is have a chat with your parents first and then decide by yourself only . Am sure if you go by yours friends advice you will get more confused and might end up buying wrong bike . After all you are going to buy bike for ur self not for ur friends ..right..?
                              sorry for my poor English am not at all good at writing.....!
                              Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                                @Have a chat with your parents,

                                Well my mom wants me to buy a value for money and reliable bike from Honda @ around 60-70K with a mileage of 60Kmpl. And i thought i of checking out all the bikes within 1 lakh range (convincing her to stretch the budget somehow) and see which buy is worthwhile. Stunner is a win-win for both me and my mom who's gifting me that.

                                @Forget your friends' advice

                                Well for that matter they don't even like Stunner , All they like are Pulsar 220s, Karizma Rs, R15s, FZs. That's what they advice me and i didn't give any importance to their advices for obvious reasons i.e i didn't want to dump all my pocket money (which i rarely get) on petrol and high ownership cost.

                                @My English is bad

                                Don't worry! Your english is quite fine, it's normal.
