Its a fact, not a joke!!!Originally posted by The_Lone_Rider View PostHahahaha Nice joke that, about the percentage
Bet you beer to dollar, YOU WILL NOT!!!Originally posted by The_Lone_Rider View PostI'll regularly use that bike for 6-10 years.
Buddy, no offense, you need to calculate this first before you zero-in on any ride. Its easy to do a forward planning like buying a ride & then suffering to feed it. What's more practical & difficult is to do a reverse planning which is what I'm suggesting. Buy something that you can AFFORD (not in terms of thinking that one can afford, but to work it out black & white on paper) & not something that you like. Its your Parents hard earned money even though they're sharing it with you.Originally posted by The_Lone_Rider View PostFuel cost? Not much! 1 Litre for 2-3 days i guess. Maintenance, i have no idea about what it costs?, i can afford oil though
Buying is one time affair, but maintenance is for life time. So do these reverse calculations first before buying a ride, otherwise your parents are the one to suffer.Last edited by aargee; 01-13-2011, 12:09 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Yes that's why i'm not considering my friends' suggestions (Pulsar 180/220, Apache 180, FZ, R15)Four wheels move a BODY,
Two wheels move a SOUL...

I think the Yamaha SZ-R is best but u dont get any digital. But remember most of case digital is not good & costly more than analog in maintenance
.But do not go for bajaj
.They are hell with there service & Model issues
.Go for HeroHona ,Suzuki ,Yamaha And Honda only
.I think u get some world std biking exp with this brand
.U can also try with Apache RTR 160 HE .it is also a good bike with no compromise ....wish u give some epic of ur new bike...

Did i just read a post by govinda? (No Offence)
And Buddy, i would say, Get a licence. Because it seems like you will get the bike and start riding it. with or without licence.
And think about what aargee said. If you are planning for a ride, Consider each and everything. Because you don't purcahse a machine everyother day.
As of Now, with your own response and the suggestions here:- Dazzler is the best bet.

@ The Lone Rider
I was wondering why the RTR 160 didnt get ur attention. I think it will pretty much suit you. Except ofcourse the 6-10 yr usage thing. (Nothing short of Honda will do here). So, why dont you just give it a thought..? Any specific reasons..?MOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE
