Interesting isn't it. Am wondering which one would be more fun as well as capable regular bike. Like going to office and a few interstate runs and mountain climbs. I know the CBR is priced more than the R15 but i think Joel's complete kit would even that out. But is that a good bet, considering in some time CBR will have its own share of performance enhancement products. What say?

This is going to be a fantastic thread for sure & interestingly I'd thought about it long back too
![]() Any day, to win the argument, I'd say Joeled R15 will not be a match for even modded C250R; Joeled C250R will be mind blowing & it would be even easier than any other comparative segment. Now to answer the point on... Quote:
). Also it looks like the rev limiter has been cut off at 10.5K & rumors that it can top to 12.5K & remember, there's room for Joeling this one too but for the moment lets keep those aside.Joeled R15 will also score on 120 Kmph effortless cruising, probably a long life, service backed up by, may be Joel or YMSI ; there're even rumors that R15 these days aren't upto the quality of what it used to be during the initial periods. Top speed on this could be upto 150 Kmph probably? The tires of R15 are certainly an inferior to those on C250R. The real fun comes when a C250R or something equivalent tries to smoke of this R15 which would certainly raise the brows for sure, now that's something priceless ![]() To sum up, as a stock lover, my pick would be a C250R for its comfortable seating posture that scores much better over moded R15.

If you already own a bike and are planning this one as an addition...... go for joel's r 15 mod. That guy did some pretty awesome stuff to the bike. The mods are a little expensive to maintain but if you wanna shock the balls out of someone showing off on his new cbr 250, buy this. plus it will be a very potent track bike.

Mindless thread, the CBR is yet to be launched here, (except Navnish I dont think any one has tested the CBR) and the thread creator is asking us to compare the two.
I wonder how the mods let in such threads. I would say, lock this thread till the CBR is launched, this is just going to create another fighting thread mine is better than yours. |

The wrath of the Gods of Honda quarter litre (GoHQL-pronounced as Go-KILL ) are soon to be upon you. Run while you still can.![]() For the last couple of months GOHQL have been hunting the Ninjas and now this. You have now made the hunter the hunted. FOr office you shouldnt have problem with either, interstate runs would be better on the Honda. THe twisties would be better on the J-15!!

From my experience the cost of maintaining the mods on the R15 are no more than maintaining a stock R15. An oil and filter change is all I've incurred in about 4000 kms of running since the upgrade so far.

how long did you have to think to come up with this thread Mate... anyway the R15 is modified... it might be equal to stock CBR... but dont forget the CBR can be modified too... but yet the R15 will have to scream to reach its top performance... while in the CBR its gona be effortless.... its obvious... its a 250 mate!!!
