    Hello Artificial Indulgence,

I am not much of cycling, however i had been to a firefox outlet couple of months back and since then i have been deciding on buying a bicycle and ride it...
Firefox is a very good brand as far i know..but it is priced to heavy for my pockets...
Can you recommend a cycle within the range of 5000 to 8000 which had disk breaks and also shock absorbers and light weight.

would love to do what you are doing now...so help me in this

i think ppl who look down upon cycles and cyclists should have a look at this. and reconsider their thoughts !!

give that motor of yours some rest, and start workin up your legs !!!

not a professional, but i've been mountain biking since 1994. i mostly ride my bike, for travelin around. i love mountain biking more than any other sport or activity. it brings me close to nature. i love the feeling when m on the mountain, just me and my bike, its like nirvana !!! i'm sure you must have experienced the feeling when you really really wanna releive yourself, and finally you get the chance to attend natures call, and you feel like heaven, sometimes tears roll down your cheeks too, when i'm mountain biking, the feeling is beyond this...hope you're getting what m tryin to explain !!!!
and i also build my own bikes when i get the time and moolah !! i can talk about mtn bikes for years on end !!!

i had vowed never to touch any motorised vehicle, but i had to break it last december as i've become a dad, and carrying your little one on the bicycle for errands is not recommended !!!

i guess thats enuf about me!

hope that wasnt too much ! as you must have clearly noticed, i get carried away too soon !! sorry about that !

the trek has got a very 'entry level' look, where as the viper has got a better looking and technologically advanced frame ( the downtube is hydroformed 7000 series aluminum)
its got a very low standover height, so the chances of your nether regions hitting the toptube is much lesser as compared to the trek.

the trek has better components, than the viper. the front suspension on the viper is worse than anything i've ever ridden. its got 2 inches of sticky mucky travel. if m not mistaken, the trek comes equipped with RST forks . which is quite decent. even the drivetrain is better on the trek.

if i had the choice, i would go for the viper, and upgrade it to better components, thats what i've done with my viper! all of the stock parts are lying somewhere someplace in my house, the frame however has got 'manitou stance' front forks, 'shimano' cranksets and bottom bracket. cnc machined stem and 1.5 inch riser bars by 'powertools' and the works !

bottom line, i llllllllovvve the viper frame!!
