      It was the downhill slope after crossing the gate and I was going around 40 due to speed limit.

        those FE figures shown at the console are highly inaccurate. What you really got is around 40 km/ltr.

          Hi,
          I am interested in buying a duke 200. There are a few questiond that i have.

          1:- I am 5'6" in height. Would it be problamatic for me to ride a duke in Traffic? I mean where i have to keep my feet on ground quite often. I have a honda dream. It's higher than normal bikes, but i don't face any problems on it.

          2:- What about pillion comfort on this. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much would u rate it.

          3:- how much would a secondhand duke 200 cost. Any rough idea.

            Hi Hugo,

            1: Your height is average and you should be good on it. Take a few test rides to access it.
            2: On a Duke, pillion comfort depends purely on who the pillion is. For instance, if the pillion is a very thin supermodel who'll be sitting grabing you tight, the pillion seat is good for her, a score of probably 8, but if it is a fairly healthy guy, the score dips to a 5. I have been on thw pillion seat of my bike only for once and within 2 seconds all I wanted was to drive.
            3: No idea, but maybe you should go for a new one as from what I've heard, because of the parts quality, they start to wear after 10k Kms and it can be heavy on your pocket.

              2 - I sat on the back of a duke (as well as drove it) and although I am not very "healthy", it was rather uncomfortable for anything other then short drive.

              As for second hand, I saw decent second hand one in Kolkata for just under 100k. But then again, better go for new, as you don't know what the previous owner did to the bike and how he took care of it and run it in.

                      A friend of mine wants to sell his duke 200, its not even a month old, still running it in I think. He wants to get the 390 that's why he is selling the 200. He is asking 1.3 for it.

                        Guys I am facing problem with exhaust. Its making different noise. Took it to service center at Ghatkopar and they suggested replacement. That'll bite 10k. Any suggestions how to go around this problem?

                          What kind of noise is it making? Did you check if all the fasteners are in place and tight? Maybe the guys at the showroom just want to charge you for parts...

                          A little more detail about "different noise" would be a great help in discovering the problem.

                            Internals of exhaust had gone bust. On lower rpm about 3-4k it makes fluttering noise. One u hear from bikes whose exhaust has given up. Since it was under warranty go replaced under manufacturing defect.

                              Good that they replaced it on the warranty, keep it up KTM.

                              BTW, did you have to fight them a lot on this?
