Sane method of riding for Shine, caliber, Zeus, R1, Busa etc. etc. are all the same. Ride under 60kmph in express highway . In traffic, its lesser .

Don't think we can compare the FI of CL500 to the Duke's. It sure would be more reliable. From what I know (yes, I know) The nagging/niggling issues faced/reported by Duke 125 owners elsewhere HAVE been taken care of in the 200. People may not like my confidence and say "seems like you sit beside the factory folks and get this update". I don't care if they say so.

I think and every prospective owner of the Duke also think the same. But I would say when you are branding a bike as a performance bike, a bit less of a FE shouldn't be a problem. At least I wouldn't mind whatever FE they would claim on it.

Here is the link KTM TANK POWERPARTS.
Also I read in the Overdrive review of the bike, that Bajaj showed them tank extension as one of the power part to be readily available.
Also here is complete catalogue POWER PART CATALOGUE

I am very eagerly waiting for the bike to launch, all set to sell my one yr old P180 (Anitque Blue)
wow, i never knew, this option is available, but think about it, you increase the fuel tank size and fill up more fuel, the total weight of bike increases, power to weight ratio comes down, plus a person like me at 95 kgs and 6 feet sits on it. how much will performance suffer? think about adding a pillion of 75 kgs to it.

          • boss,
i've already sold my CL350 in december thinking that it will launch on 3rd january,as per company only launch date is given yet not even price info so delivery mode is completely a secondary info.My suggestion is wait till 24th jan.You will come across all answers to your question.

ON-ROAD 1.3-1.4L ?? even if its true then it will be good price ..although i don;t believe it will cut CBR share in any case [due to ppl mindset of 200CC for 1.4L ? or it being not fully dressed as CBR]

                  • That pricing should work out pretty well for the duke
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

                      • Quite reasonably priced I'd say, as the Power/Weight ratio is off the charts compared to all other Indian bikes!! Also, several other goodies included make it a great VFM.

30 to 40 days -- This could deter a lot of buyers who have been DESPERATELY waiting for it! The wait has been excruciating with BAL playing hide n seek with the launch and now 30-40 days??? The hype may just die down!

i pray the delivery is in max 14 days ..

if the demand is too high i guess the waitin time may be over than 1-3 months Just imagine this ????? Thinking abt the waiting time is killin me rather than the money frame

Hopefully i do the booking in the 2nd-3rd week of feb and take the vechile by March 03.

Not sure where you got this notion about 125 but the answer is NO. 200 is the one that's hitting the stores this month.
