Guys, quick query...the riding pants? Don't seem to find them on the DSG website.

Killer review, waiting to see the new and improved beast in flesh.

@Mods, did you guys feel that the gearbox has ratios which are too close to each other? I mean I do not know of a single motorcycle that can pull away from 30 in 6th without snatching. Is this a merit of the engine or the short gearing at work?

Another thing I notice in this first impression is that no competitors have been targeted in this unlike what happened in the Duke First Impression. For obvious reasons this wasn't compared to the R15. But could we have a subjective comparison of the handling with other street nakeds currently in the market eg. RTR/FZ/Dazzler. That way people will get an idea whether to withhold their 150cc purchases for the upcoming 150 or go ahead with what they already have in mind.

I don't think the Pulsar 200NS has a direct competitor except the 200 Duke. Both the 200 Duke and the Pulsar 200NS are obviously the "desi" Naked Kings.

                my queries
1.is it coming with soft compound tyres?i read somewhere they have optional soft tyre in offering for those who are ready to pay premium.
2.what's the colour of backlit speedo?
3.does the acceleration and top speed figure match as claimed by bajaj?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Is the RPM needle responsive to blips? Is it as fast as the R15 or the RTR tacho needle? All the earlier pulsar editions had a very lazy RPM needle which responded slowly.

                      awesome review, awesome pics!!
the bike looks and seems promising!

one thing i liked about the new switchgear is that the way in which the engine kill switch works, is changed now
the new one is more ergonomically designed!

                      notice the difference.

That was changed in the P135 itself. They however didn't give the BCU enabled bikes this change. Now the P200NS has done away with the BCU it seems. Good idea. Sadly, no self cancelling indicators

Which bike would you put your money Sunilg? Am about to book the Duke, am really confused, a great review, but help me out brother. Want an honest opinion from someone who has ridden both the machines.

                            AWESOME PICTURES!!
good to know that you guys were honest about the touring part of the bike.
                            and "plastic-shrouded" tank ? ouch!
the bikes headlight has d strongest design mark.from rear it looks lame.again subjective.
in yellow it looks great but let's see how well the engine fares in the long run.
But from the review so far i m guessing the bike is not meant to lay out comfort even during long city riding of 50 kms +

                              Very nice review

After a long time I have taken out time to read a review. Yes a nice review, as I was reading the review I was imagining the bike Infront of me. Very well written and explained of the machine u could imagine the bike right there Infront of you all the time.
By the who so ever who has taken the snaps he is an amazing person one of the best photographs I have seen so far of anyone or anywhere.
Well I was shocked to see the exhaust man amazing work there but also I was surprised to read that it sounds the same as our current 220f? That's a big question there. Well I shall be waiting for the bike to come to the nearest dealership to get my hands on her for a test ride all alone.
Hope to see some better line up for all of us in the near future.
