Bajaj Pulsar 200NS Review: xBhp's Ride Report

I have seen 2 day old ZMAs, RTRs and Activas spewing out smoke by the ton. Emission control is an important part of testing by any manufacturer. You cant help it as a manufacturer if your customer forgets to put in proper quality and quantity of oil.Originally posted by movies99 View PostNever argue with an idiot. Pulsar 200NS Lap at Chakan - OVERDRIVE - YouTube
The performance is really boring after 110kmph and it struggles to do even a modest 130kmph (I was expecting a lot from a 23bhp bike)Last edited by tusharsmoily; 02-13-2012, 03:09 PM.

Hi mg i know you might be right but i feel it is for the exhaust extension which will be sold as an accessory this will be extending the exhaust a bit higher then what it is so that the bike can be taken to water crossings...Originally posted by MG View Post...
Single sided rear tyre hugger
And yea this will be a variable suspended exhaust i.e. the part where this assembly will meet the actual exhaust there will be a spring kind of hose which will help it to move with the suspension...
Its again a feature since this will be the first time it will not be mounted on chassis based assembly and on the variable part i.e. the swing arm...sigpic

couple of questions for the review team
a) were the switches having back light like the current pulsars?
b) any performance accessories to be made available like the KTM ones?
c) were the test bikes final production version or can we expect some more changes in performance / looks department?

Sir,
Just a noob question. Will the Duke 200 Sprockets be a direct fit on P200NS?
If yes then we have a range of options I suppose.

P220 or P200NS
Sorry mods, if this is OT. Before I start my comments, just wanted to say this is a very great forum and the review by Old Fox was astounding. Awesome.. In fact, his review is what made me post this else it was the P220.
I just booked a P220 speedline from Chennai ProBiking despite knowing that 200NS was around the corner. Two primary reasons for choosing the P220 were a) the 55W projector lamp since I travel after dusk frequently and b) the rear lofty pillion seat as seen in the pictures and as told in the reviews are not pillion friendly which wifey would abhor.
Just wanted to know if the P220 booking was a bloody blunder or if it's okay. I am asking this since we now have a test-ride review of the P200 that can be compared to the P220. If there already is a comparison, please provide the link. Just want to know in the little time available if I should cancel the P220 booking.

comparing to 220 you can see the below thread
and yes you will not have 55w projector lamps in p200ns....
but it may be available in faired version.....for which you may have to wait longer than p200ns...Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'i'm possible'! -Audrey Hepburn
