Some stunning pics in here and nicely penned-down review.

If you ask me, this one looks so much better than the KTM. Would have loved the KTM Motor in this mould. The crease/lines are just perfect.

Also, I guess the test bikes had their front license plate on the bikini fairing. With the revised position (ahead of the headlamp), with the front forks on full compression, under hard braking, does it touch / scrape the front mudguard?
We don't have vbox setup to check the roll on figures.

The front nuber plate are fitted at an angle so they will not scrape the front mudguard even on hard braking. Been there done that.

Yes it has been tested in a similar way

MG, as part of the testing excercise you might have got few insights into the future plans of Bajaj. Are there any tidbits which you are allowed/interested to share with us?
I have certain idea but not sure about what is coming so no point writing anything as of now.

The best part of whole 200NS experience, has to be the "power to people" concept. Not 1 or 2 but so many NS were handed over to people outside the company, a real world test of the bike!
Thanks a lot man for the appreciation. When you have lived with a bike for so long then no point giving a regular ride review and hence the effort of putting something different.

I top-up the coolant in my car in normal way(without any bleeding of air or anything. Is that correct as well??
When you are filling the coolant from the cap end open the other end of the radiator. Let the coolant fill till the time it oozes out from the other end. This ensures that all the air inside the radiator is now out and there are no air pockets inside the radiator.

I'm no pro in cornering but I could carry more speeds in NS over R15 both while entering and exiting a corner in Lavasa. I repeat handling is the best thing in this bike and rest everything comes after that.

Mileage figure is given in the review. Please go through it one more time.

It is a street machines which performs other duties pretty well. Don't expect it to be an out an out offroader. The bike is not made for that.

Would be nice to see the lap times in the end amongst all these contenders. But as MG mentioned, how many of us get to do track days anyway.

Newrider, no hard feelings. Please do not compare an R15 to a pulsar150 or a unicorn. Only a novice will do so.

Choose your words wisely friend. 2004 180 dtsi V1 which people said had gear box issues is very much alive (amongst others) in my garage and its one of the most pleasure filled motorcycles i have owned or ridden (that list is long and you may not want to get into that).

    Safe riding.
i am not looking for the lap times..i am looking at the quality and confidence and sharpness and stability of the handling package...its no brainer that the power advantage of the ns will leave the r15 eat dust but how exactly is the confidence and poise... Its just like the cbr250 is faster than a r15 but the r15 handles better... I hope you understand what i am trying to say

I was not comparing r15 with pulsar but i was talking about riding pleasure which according to crankpin a pulsar cannot give. Riding pleasure means whether a bike can deliver for which it is designed or not ? These type of hypothetical assumptions "pulsars lack riding pleasure" can mislead others who have never driven any bike.

Riding pleasure was something that all the pulsars lacked.

True top speed of NS is 136 as mentioned by the company. With tail wind and downhill one can most probably touch speed of 138-140

    Only time will tell

I wonder what doubts you have. This is quicker than R15V2 and CBR150 and most probably will be quicker than CBR250 around a track. But then track is a completely different thing and 99% of the total buyer of either of these bikes will never go to any track.

When I say 35-40 I mean riding at a cruising speed of 90-100 for most of the time and occasionally hitting the 130mark. No one will ride this vehicle at speeds below 55kmph.

Didn't want to make it too in your face. It is there for a purpose and hope everyone reads it after reading the review.
actually i was talking about the handling part... We all know this pulsar can corner well but how good is it when compared to the r15 on a racetrack which has set a benchmark in india and the cbr150r...
