Hi guys.... Im new to this forum. After a prolonged confusion i finally bought Pulsar 200NS 2weeks back...
Im pretty happy with my black pearl. I love the grunt it produces the most, unlike other bikes.
Im in run-in period... reached 720kms. Finished my 1st servicing. Its irritating actually to goof around with this powerful machine in hand restricting it to <48kmph.
I changed my stock tyres to Michelin Pilot Street Radials......
Do we really have to hold on <50kmph till 1000kms & <60kmph till 2000kms ???Leave a comment:

No, even if we consider 300V to be a better oil than 7100, still it is not required for P200NS, oils like 5100 are sufficient and if you want to go one step further then 7100 is more than sufficient.Originally posted by gangs1979 View Post
while in reality AFAIK, 300V is a racing oil and not a street use oil. racing oils have special additives to increase performance and it have lesser additives required for engine long life whereas street use oils have more additives for engine and clutch long life and lesser performance based additives.

I completed 10,000 Kms on my 200NS last month. I travel about 40Kms on an average daily. I have not seen any issues with the bike - zero maintenance till date. I take it on highway sometimes and this bike literally flies - you should know that I am a heavy guy but still managed to top 130+ with ease. I owned pulsar 150 for 5 years before this and I can say that the leap by Bajaj is magnifique. Absolutely joy in the decision of buying this bike.
I am gonna change my bike's engine oil to Motul 300V 15W50 (fully synthetic) - suggested by my friend. Is this a good choice?Leave a comment:
