Dude, this is nothing against you, and will be happy if your claim comes true. Just that there have been numerous such instances on Xbbp, and every time they have fallen flat.
I am just trying to put airy speculations to rest. The service head of KTM and kawasaki in a v prominent KTM probiking dealership is a close friend. Did the pre booking through him officially. He has been to the chakan plant to view and ride
the bike and simply loved it. On his word I booked even before there were any reviews on the net. He always told me a below 2.5L on road pricing and called me last week telling me launch is tentatively 15th June and pricing is below 2.5Lon road in the range of 2.35L.
I have always shared my info as I got it in the interest of clearing rumours misleading fellow xbhpians. Peace out!

According to my sources, the bike will see light of day on 15th or 16th June and all doubts and speculations will be put to rest. I've been confirmed on road pricing on the range of 2.35L from the start.

in Singapore D390 costs about 12% more than D200
in Europe D390 costs about 35% more than D200

    this is just my view...
but in India D390 costs about 75% more than D200 (speculating the launch price as 2.35L ex-showroom and D200 at 1.3L)

i agree that 2.35L for D390 is very cheasy but with heacy localisation, dont you think KTM is over prising D390?

    or

taking the same calculation in reverse order, D200 should be priced at 1.8L (then 2.35L becomes 30% more than 1.8L)

i still feel KTM should launch D390 at 2L OTR, wich is about 40% more than D200

KTM has announced a faired version of all the 3 Dukes. The 125 the 200 and the 390.

On top of this, we have spy pictures out on the Fully faired Pulsar 375.

Can anyone tell me if there is an adventure version of the Dukes coming out as well?

as for me i like them the way they are, with few tweaks: half fairing for wind protection, soft comfy seat.

Mr. Stephen Pierer, CEO, KTM had himself mentioned that there will be
Fully faired motorcycles branded as RC in
    125, 200 & 390 engines.
Also, he mentioned that they are working on Supermoto motorcycles in all the above engine configurations.

The frames for naked versions and the faired versions are different..
if any faired verision would come, it would not be based on the naked dukes..
the racing style category is different.. Ktm would surely launch one or two in the near future.. India has started growing above the economy barrier and the companys know this thing..
