KTM Duke 390 Review : xBhp Ride Report

    Being a Store manager at KTM Ahmedabad.
    I can only say that this bike will make many people happy.
    As of now there is not Faired or dual purpose version comming of duke 390.
    It will share the same trellis frame of 125&200 and the same brakes and everything else.
    And dont be surprised if u see the MRF tyres in 390.

    i have plans to buy a 2nd bike for myself by year end - i'm confused over KTM-390 (Value for money with ABS) or Ninja 300R (a very potent machine albeit a bit expensive), i can afford both with a bit of loan from bank. will keep reading user reviews and try a test ride for both before making up my mind.

    According to overdrive launch is in May end sometime followed by deliveries by June. I booked mine in the 2nd week of April and I am seriously running out of patience as I sold my cbr 250r 2 weeks ago anticipating the launch in April and May delivery...:banghead::banghead:

    I dont know dude! The place is not even big enough to hold a small press conference. For launching a new bike, they need to buy the entire space!
    I worked at Porsche here, even the people who come down to see the show on press day are not the clientele that they would look for.

    But if it is held here, I will be there!

    P.S. I read at other places that the launch is in June.

    Chennai auto expo is crap! its just namesake. I dont think such a launch can happen here. Besides no vehicle has been launched at Chennai auto expo AFAIK.

    Of course we where spoiled by the very same manufacturer. But when our country just had same specced bikes with different names and graphics (read hero), that move made sense, now Graduating from a 200 to 250 is not a good idea, and a 350 makes much more sense because there is a gap between 250s and 650s.

    Unfortunately we dont have many 650s and none comes cheap, so a 350- 400 makes very much sense.

    But the gap between, 200/250s and 350 is an artificial thought.
    We must forget those 20cc increment games.
