I agree....Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostSo thread is up...!!! Duke 390 gonna be overall fair enough for Indian terrain, but I am afraid its gonna be difficult to maintain the bike because of expensive parts....

I highly doubt that the Adventure 390 would get an Indian launch. Its more of a european farmside guys bike

@kochumvk & @yellowspunk : point taken. regret the use of hindi slang on my previous posts.
its not essentially hindi, its bambaiyya - a weird mix of hinglish & some vocabulary that's inane.
will be careful going forward.
n btw, hindi is not my mother-tongue either but it surely is my national-tongue
@sidhusmart : thanks for the info. we await fotos clicked by u & @JayD too. that tyre seems wide enuff. n btw it was @DeVille who had inquired abt the tyres
@DeVille: by any chance u had any luck w/ ur quest for raingear / gore-tex?Last edited by whymail; 06-30-2013, 09:46 PM.

Content here are becoming increasingly not readable for those whom Hindi is not mother tongue. Appreciate other language guys for not localizing further.
Please post Each language in its own script so that one-man understand that it's not intended for everyone

re: KTM Duke 390 Review & first impression: xBhp Exclusive
people who noted that the 390 sounds different than the 200 should remember that a brand new 200 sounds a lot different than a say 7-8K old 200. Same might happen with the 390 too.
And I couldn;t go for the launch event
hoping to go today for a test ride atleast

JayD Ah, we finally hear from you! Though you went to the showroom and made off with the bike :P
Yes, I noticed the paddock stand in pics shared by others. Will be goin to Kanjur coming week anyway so will try and sit to check ergos.
Any difference in quality of parts compared to D200- Switchgear, palm grips still the same? Other observations, if any?
Also I saw some Powerparts on display in sidhusmart 's pics. Were they the same that were at the launch?
And did any of you check the rear tyre specs- have the dimensions chenged from D200?

My Data cable is at office so will upload the pics tomorrow. Met @sidhusmart and @calvinkalyan and swapnil. It was fun.
There were a lot of Duke 200's but the 390 looks slightly bigger at least to me. Sounds slightly different as compared to the 200 but wont be able to comment on how exactly as it was in a closed environment. Orange looks excellent. As @sidhusmart said, a few wires under the tank were slightly exposed and that's a cause of concern in monsoons and during bike wash.
@DeVille - Could not sit on the bike as it was on race stand. Test rides have started today so jaao aur luft uthao bhai log. The bike looks awesome to me and left me awestruck.
Until then you can check out the pics on FB

re: KTM Duke 390 Review & first impression: xBhp Exclusive
In Bangalore ,I specifically enquired them about Duke390 0% dep insurance but was said the insurance that these guys have was not that one. They said they are fine if we get the 0% dep insurance by ourselves.Originally posted by Sachinnair View PostIf you are lucky they'll mention this option but most of the times you'll have to proactively ask for it and then they would give you a new quotation which would include zero dep insurance.
Any idea if anyone has got it done from outside.
