@JayD : LOL! thank you for the inspiration but simply put, i am too lazy to come over there all the way - was there twice last week already.
was @ kanjur ktm this morning already too LOL!

as for the age, let me explain... @ my age, before i bend over, i try to think of all the things i want to do once i am bent-over. and once i am bent-over & actually down there, before i straighten up, i ask myself "what else can i / do i want to do while i am bent down here?"

as for shree @Centaur mahashay... he is in a different league altogether - his ZeroBHP bike runs on a 50Litre beer-tank. Mine runs on infinite supply of nicotine & baba-zarda!

my 2nd inning of biking childhood / teen days is about to begin in a few weeks / months.

till that time i am gonna continue to stay lazy! get the idea?

whymail - Why do you hav to play your OLD MAN card every time. Man!! with the sort of stuff you've done when you were my age and not to mention the fact that you've got 6.5 L KM's under your SORRY OLD ASHHH, how old do you think i feel. Guys like you and Centaur is what we young bikers (At least me and a few folks i know) want to be like. Ride till we Bloody can. Stop cribbing and try to make it to Vashi today brother.

DeVille - Well, try to make it. Will get the snap but the perspective wont help ya coz i'm much bulkier than you. Might make the KTM look puny. .

whymail JayD is this the 'Mumbai launch' so to speak? Or is the bike already unveiled at other KTM dealers here?

Always remember, Finance company will show you less interest rate and still charge you more EMI whereas Nationalized banks may show you higher interest rate but you end up with a smaller + more convenient EMI with no hidden charges. Choose wisely.

Usually insurance companies do not offer zero dep for vehicles more than 3 years old. Zero Dep ensures that in case of accident you will receive the full claim without any deduction on the value of parts getting replaced, in short it means 100% cover. Be it replacing fibre parts, rubber, plastic, or any thing else you will get full claim. Normal insurance depreciates from 0% to 40% usually but Zero Dep gives you complete peace of mind by giving 100% re imbursement. The premium is slightly higher than the normal insurance though.

It costed me 2,800 INR more choosing Zero Dep insurance on N650. So for Duke I believe it should cost 800 - 1000 INR extra than normal insurance.
Sachinnair - Thanks for the detailed info. I will go ahead and get the Zero depreciation policy. Is it provided directly by the KTM / Kawasaki dealership or have to directly contact Insurance Co's??
