I simply can't understand why everyone here is so hyped for this bike ... It's ain't a beauty ... it's ain't a power horse either ... i see no chance that it would win over the 250 segment in India ... especially when there's strong competitors like CBR-250R / Ninja 300 / Duke 200-390 ...

My dear friend.. its called preferences.. i find this beast beautiful and from what it offers i feel it is gonna do well.. i personally dont like the looks of duke. That doesnt mean the others dont like it. Right?? I personally dont like the looks of pulsar series but that doesnt meAn others dont like the looks of pulsar series, right?? If suzuki prices it perfectly then yes it will definitely be preferred.. and how can i forget the royal enfields?? They look horrible, sound horrible and leak oil like anything and i simply hate that bike.. does it mean that their bikes are ugly? And for your information this bike is gonna be more powerful than the royal Enfield..

Lets wait for the launch and like i said in the previous posts, I might go for it as ot is touring friendly in all terms..

        Cheers,

There are some bikes, which like to make their presence felt[The ones u have mentioned] and there are some, which don't like to, for eg the Suzuki Bandit is one of them, the other day the Bandit came and was next to me, no one noticed it. The owners of these bikes don't like attention, you can park these bikes and not bother about people fiddling around with them. The Inazuma will fall under such category and there are lots of guys who would prefer it that way. Only thing to be seen is how the Suzuki guys are gonna price it.

But i very much doubt there would be as many interests in this bike to make Suzuki's effort worthwhile.

Yes, You are absolutely right about Bandit. One doesn't need to worry about someone fiddling with bike when parked in a crowded place. Bandit has everything that one would look for in a sports tourer like a centre stand, adjustable seat height, torque even from down the RPM range. But I feel that the exhaust could have made a bit attractive.
Coming to Inazuma, I strongly believe that this bike would definitely have takers if its price competitively.

Well bro.. my point there was.. my opinions on those bikes don't matter.. its how a person sees the bike and his preferences.. i dont like thr looks of pulsars and thats not gonna make someone hate it, right?? Same goes with the enfield..

Cant help if you take it otherwise..

Now coming to Inazuma.. the bike to me looks appealing.. might not be of othrrs taste but in my opinion it looks good and if priced right, this will be my next machine..

                Cheers,

I hear it might be around 2-2.5 on road and reading these reviews, my thought of a small bike to join my family with Bandit is long gone. Not worth the money, I would rather go for a Ninja 650.

^ +1 man! Experienced the same with the Bandit and FZ1 So many times. No nonsense and simple. Hope the Inazuma would be something like that. I don't mind if it doesn't cross 120, I just want it to have enough torque to cruise smoothly all day at 90-100, like my zma. It may be a little smoother than the zma/zmr because it has two cylinders. Never know, wait and watch!

                    Cheers,

                    Karthik

Suzuki bikes are always full of surprises. How is the bandit? I am sorry, out of topic question, but very curious to know about the lovely bike.

Yesterday I asked the Suzuki dealers in Pune, and today in NewBombay. Both the dealers said there has been no official comment on this. They say if it is coming it might only come mid 2014. Don't know why Suzuki is not launching it here. I thought they will launch it by Diwali provided it is already in production and out in some markets.

I do a lot of Mumbai-Pune on the GS150R and I get comfortably 110kmph on the Speedo for long durations at full throttle. It has not strained the engine nor caused my engine any harm. I have been doing this for over an year now. I'm regular with servicing and oil changes.

I really would like to get my hands on the GW250...
With great Power(and Torque) comes great responsibility.

The original BKing was much better. Though this is based on the BKing, this luks shit. But, I bet it'll be damn comfortable tourer.
Btw, waiting for the GSX 250, which will be the baap of all small cc bikes. Hoping it'll be absolutely smashing. Suzuki pls release the GSX 250 soon with 30+ bhp.

Lunch date confirmed as Jan 2014. Although I thinks its bad timing, that they are launching this type of bike at this time. Even though it might be 26 horses, I still doubt that it will do well.

Sad design, bulk is written all over it. Custom exhausts are a must. Needs a lot of stripping. Perhaps pricing can save it. Best of luck, Suzuki.

i think its against physics, what you are talking about... 150cc engine at 110 km/hr on speedo, for long durations and you use the word, comfortable?????? and adding, it does not strain that engine? sorry yar... coming from a pulsar 150 history.
