Take off my helmet, ruffle my hair with hands and I'm done. Short to Medium hair.

I'd rather win Traffic light GP's than beauty contests.

well..going through the topic its the most common problem every one face...
you dress your hair using gel and all and want to have a good look but helmet help a lot (sarcastic).

But accidentally i found a small solution.. one day after the shower i used the vaseline body lotion on face and mistakenly i took a lot more than needed...
in hurry i used the left lotion on my hair and was amazed my hair was in a good shape after removing helmet..
i didnt found any harm till now and i use it regularly in place of gel hehe...
You can also try it guys one time using wont make any lose try it..

I use my RVM's after removing my helmet to set me hair. I do just with my fingers. If I forgot to watch at my rvm's. I just peep at my helmets visor & set my hair.

                    Hairy deal!

Hairy issues sure a a big problem with bikers and discourage idiots from using helmets.

I have personally gone for a medium hair cut. I have started keeping my giant hair brush in my bag, which i carry at all times. The bag carries my deodrants, glares, wallet, mobiles, comb, face wash and bike's insurance papers. After I reach office, I go straight to the washroom. Apply some water and then comb it before going to my desk. I gel my hair while leaving home and it helps to re-style when i reach office.

Note: Like someone earlier said its too gay to discuss this topic, but 90% of people who don't wear helmets blame the messed up hair due to helmets.

Combing your hair properly before putting on the helmet and using a bandana works well for me...Without the bandana the hair gets messed up..Cant help hair flattening though.

Have any one experienced or feels that there is hair loss with prolonged use of the helmet.
I have a feeling that i am loosing hair (also my helmet is a bit too tight, will be getting a new one soon).

Is it true that there is hair loss with the use of helmet. Also any suggestions how to avoid this (as we cannot avoid riding )

                        Thanks,
                        Subu.
Well for those who are loosing hair due to prolonged usage of helmet and even the gels are not working, since most of the time gels don't suit your scalp, give parachute after shower a try. Its not expensive .. worth Rs.68 for a pack that lasts more than a month and it softens your hair. So once you remove your helmet, your hair are good to be ruffled with just fingers and set in place. You can even try the smaller pack for experimenting purposes.

PS :- To me I just sounded like advertising Parachute -- Mere kaale ghane mulayam baalo ka raaz ( They don't exist in real ) But the product does work
Joy is realizing you still have one more page full of new posts to go on your favorite thread while you thought you are on the last one :-)
