Salam bhai...........
@sunilg: when a man admits his own mistake, his reputation goes high as the sky. So this is so great................we missed xbhp for many hours and kept typing the address once in ten minutes in my cell..............started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

I, like everyone else was wondering why xBhp was down, but felt good to learn (and see) that it was back.
@SunilG: Posts deleted, then restored, so essentially no harm done I suppose. Like you've said yourself - ''to err is human''. But, its good on your part that you actually went ahead and 'confessed' to this. Bravo, my man!

Logging after so many days and good to see xBhp being restored
. Got a lot of calls and messages yesterday asking what happened but I was as clueless as other members

Apology not accepted. Now go and stand in the corner and hand me your bike keys. Or shall I say, fly to Mumbai and give all the members there a big treat.
xBhp is more than just an online forum. Yes, we do need our threads etc to keep in touch and share our stories, bikeing knowledge etc. However I do not think that losing few posts or a thread for that matter can reduce the comradeship we have here. We have picked up after 2008 - better and stronger. I do however feel that regular backups are necessary so that we do not lose out knowledge bank we have generated over here.

hey sunil, dont worry man, i am also a backup and database engineer, crashing of production servers mistakenly due to deleting some tables or data has happened with me many times, so i can understand what you are going through as its your first time, always have the full weekly and incremental daily backups to restore all the data, just keep all the backups intact, then we wont mind you crash it every week and bring it back

Thanks everyone, thanks a lot. I am overwhelmed to see your responses. Frankly I never expected such a warm acceptance of my explanation. Like someone said above, trying times like these have just reunited us and reaffirmed our faith in xBhp and the camaraderie.
Last 48 hours were really tough, but this has taught me a lot of lessons and your messages were just cherry on the cake.
Srinath: Thanks man, feels good to know that i am not alone, even professionals do that.
Satyen: Thanks bro

One of my friend (and his team) who were 'on-site' in USA and after completing an insurance company project was partying in Vegas were called back immediately to the client office in Pittsburg. A bug in the program led to unauthorized payments of more than $10 million. What one little bug can do!Originally posted by riazmomin View PostImagine a worlds second largest pharma company was not able to sell and buy pharma related goods in whole Eurpean Continent for 5 hours just because of single line of change in the source code by yours truely!
