Glad to see this forum on Northeast.
Well I am Jean-Jdan-Devilboy from Shillong. Been with XBHP for quite some time now, though had not been so very active as i am now. Well I saw a post about the re-registration of XBHP members. Well its a bit disappointing to find very few of us Northeastern as a registered XBHPians. In Shillong, which is a small place we have about 30 to 40 bikers (if not mistaken) who accompany this family bikers on Sunday rides. Yet I found very very few of us as an active contributor of this family-website. Anyways lets hope and i shall try to encourage all of them to get registered soon!

Anyways, I am glad to have met many bikers yesterday, Sunday 31st May, 2009. Some of them whose names I could still remember were Conrad, Steve, Brandon, Anil, Joseph, Wong, Brian(though he was missing) and many others whom I have met for the first time. Well there were too many of them for my memory to take....... We headed to Mawkdok village, before reaching Sohra. There was a 100meters smooth stretch where few of the guys like Brandon, Wongdi and another one whom I had forgotten had some stunt shows wheelie and endos/stoppie. I hope Conrad will be posting those pics soon in the site.. Well towards the end just before moving out from the XBHP favourite place for stunts I had a warmup of my favourite bike-balancing stunts and because of which my right upper leg had a minor pain....hehehehe.

I shall upload the latest pictures on the 13th of this month. Reason being i have not installed photoshop and the pictures are too big and on top of that i have to complete my assignmets by the 13th which ofcourse i have not started

The long ride towards Cherrapunjee was awesome. will be putting up in the tour section soon.

I am glad to hear from Deepmental, who is "solo", keeping the spirit of XBHP alive in Guwahati, Dibboi , Keep up the spirit buddy.. Sorry to hear that some bikers are fighting amongst themselves not realising the "Brotherhood" and the same passion for the machine. hope they do realise one day and be "United Bikers".

as we had discussed yesterday our first step should be to bring all the bikers that we know to xBhp. Tell all the bikers that you know in Shillong to join xBhp. I have told some of the guys I know who are from Assam. A few guys have already joined but are not very active. They were mostly interested in NE related stuff only. Anyway need to give them a reminder as the discussion is picking up pace now.

We will discuss in August. I will come with my friends in Guwahati to Shillong.

Yes I am working towards it, I am asking my biker friends to get registered. Most riders who join in the Sunday trips havent registered yet. And getting the bikers registered is my frist motive with the XBHP and hope to achieve this along with Conrad.

I had registered most of them but when xBhp crashed everything vanished. Will register them again.
@Deepmetal, do let us know when you will be coming to Shillong. We shall make proper planning for a good tour in Meghalaya.

Ya sure, do let us know... But I might not be able to join for trips till the end of July. Egg-jam is coming soon. No study materials so far and haven't attended even one day of classes since Feb09....
but would surely make it a point to welcome him along with the other Shillong XBHPians. But Conrad might be free after the 13th June right?

Even I dont think Activa is a wise choice for touring..

I dont want to disturb your plans with my OT but would really like to know if anyone has gone to tawang on a trip.. If yes do post some photos... I have nurtured this in the back of my mind for a very long time....

Narendra Singh is a biker from Guwahati. He wqas also with me when we did the trip to Sohra with Conrad .

Is it possible to rent a bike in Shillong ? If you have any contact number then please PM to me. That american biker can rent a bike from Shillong and tour Meghalaya and Mizoram. You guys can tell him about the places worth a visit.
