    @blisteringintelligence

    Yes, I did a trip to Tawang in Oct last week last year. My buddy was Shibu frm Guwahati refinery who was riding an avenger 180 and i was on my pulsar 180...

    It was a great trip. Shibu had two crashes in Dirang on the way to tawang and had two hairline fractures on his leg. but still he managed to ride over 700 kms while he couldnt even walk properly.

    But this is not a right time to trip Tawang. Landslides are pretty common during this rainy season and roads get washed out .. but you will get to see lotsa waterfalls beside the road as all small water streams gets transformed into waterfalls..

    Check my orkut album for pics..

        I guess so, we can hire a bike for touring. I shall enquire this evening about it from one of the known workshop owner. Will let you know 2moro the rate and other documents neccessary ok.

        ya you can give my number to him, no probs.

        @blisteringintelligence: Thanks, kya kare yaar, cant get up in the morning for classes, keep building dreams in my bed and then work at 10 am..... I really dont know what the hell m i gonna rock in the egg-jam hall. Hope the question papers would be concentrated on the mechanism of bikes

        Some roads are very bad, under construction or under repairs. have to be prepared for Indian roads and Activa would not be advisable for the challenge. have to keep in mind the ground clearance as well. hmmm for tourng i would suggest a bike with tubeless tyres, this will save time & trouble. Even if tubeless tyres is punctured with nails, repair can be done instantly with a repair kit @Rs.300/- which takes only 4 to 5 minutes and then air can be filled using a "Gulf Inflate and Repair Can" @Rs.350/-. So no worry for punctures.

        @Deepmental: added you as fren in orkut.

                      Hii Raul,

                      Nice to see another member here. You guys from Shillong are absolutely awesome. I was about to take a trip to Shillong this Christmas with my riding partner Shibu to be with Jdan and his group. But I had a crash in Guwahati and that ruined my trip. Please bring other members of North East to this thread as well.

                      Thanks.

                          @xplosid

                          Are the other group members also in xbhp ?

                          I keep traveling to Ghy frequently on my bike. Three friends of mine based in Guwahati are also members of xbhp.
