Genuine query with pun intended. Please excuse.
A karizma is smooth reliable honda that is good for touring and is stable at speeds... also it is welcoming to tall riders.....a honda city, a toyota corolla and a honda accord have these characteristics in a sedan...the new ciaz too.! not a lot of power but smooth consistent reliable power! The p220 is a torque monster... great on a straight line... good lights and rattels a lot!(yep the fairings do!) then the only car to suit this would be a car with a fiat mjd diesel 1.3 liter...the vista 90hp or the punto 90bhp...good looking.. everything rattels...lots of torque and straight line stabillity(the punto can corner too!) and rubbish plastic interior quality :banghead: heavy too!
The p200ns would be the new kid on the block cheap to own looks good and has great chassis balance and revs freely! Honda brio it is!!

The duke would be a complete hooligan with reference to handling power delivery and redlining ability..... suzuki swift!!!

The maruti 800- hero splendour(yes I put a 'the' in there...it deserves it)
Alto and alto 800- hero passion...better looks...same old under pinnings....

The lancer:- god ol cbz! Big heavy handles good..reliable and a modders delight....

    Wagon r:- honda activa!
    Old honda city ivtech:- rx100
    Hero impulse:- maruti gypsy!
    Santro:- honda unicorn...!
    Tata safari:- enfield bullet
And last but not the least...
    Tata nano:- tvs super xl!!

    Divyansh....

        Hi Guys,
In the market, looking for a car.
First point first: I hate cars.
        Now, requirements:
P/D I can live with it.
        Mileage around 15 is perfect.
It should have two things: Airbags and ABS. Non negotiable in these two features.
Build quality should be good and maintenance not too high.
Budget: <8L on road in bangalore. Means around 6.75-7L ex-Showroom
Equipment as standard should be appropriate and I don't care about the Brand. Everything except Tata and Fiat is allowed.

        Thanks in advance.

Hey we are bikers by blood na I can understand...

Getting 15 in chock a block city traffic will be tuff even for diesels..... you want good build quality stick with the americans and germans... thicker bodies....and better plastics...no rattles ever....

You didnt mention whether you want a big boot or not.... well...

For the petrol vs diesel debate....if you drive over 1000kms a month get a diesel... otherwise a petrol.

          Answer this:-
Car will be your daily drive or purpose based drive?
Do you need a big book aka sedan lambi gaddi?
You want something fun to drive or economical?
How many kms do you think you will drive in a month?

Wow. I always thought that superbikers had big expensive cars so that their wives/mothers would not grumble.

                      You, sir, are an inspiration.

No sirji, I am dead scared of cars...So I try to stay away from them as much as I can. I drive only when I have to take both my mum and wife out for an occasion. That too I dont cross 3 or 4th gear. Drive at 40 kmph.

Lol...glad you liked it. While my Ninja is getting all my attention when it comes to customising, my City is slowly getting modified. As of now it has got a reworked intake with PiperCross filter. Thanks to Motozone for that too. I am saving for an all new exhaust system for the car. I hope I dont use that on my Ninja. My Scoot is the workhorse in the family. Cant remember when was the last time I changed her oil.

Sometimes, i crouch over the steering wheel to get a better view of things. Surprisingly seems to help!

OT: I hold the steering so tight, I have impressions of the wheel on my palm when i take off my hand. I sweat like a pig when i drive and I dont switch on the AC either.
When I am not driving, I tend to close my eyes and sit in the rear seat and put my head-set on and dont talk.
