Also in daytime riding I wear polarised sunglasses (serengeti driver's), which makes it near impossible to read LCD displays .
It has been my experience that whenever the going gets tough and I am in most need to check the time like I am riding on a highway thru no-where or in hurry thru traffic to make it to office in the last 2 mins before the office-computer marks me "late" or I am posted to a village on election-duty or I am riding to distant client-site thru incessant rain .... the watch on my wrist is my only reasonable means to check time quickly and intuitively . So I have and always will wear a wristwatch , unless I am asleep , when it's kept on the bedside. We have many friends in easy times . For me , the friend who's always there in my difficult times ; is the friend to keep .

) is how the day/date/mnth lcd panel unnecessarily intrudes into that beautiful analogue dial (at the bottom) . They could have easily fitted it with a tiny common analogue day/date panel @ usual 6'O clock position and it would have been a just perfect clear analogue dial . Who needs to chk his wristwatch for the month anyway
