You know of Galileo who said of heliocentric universe- how many could accept then?

It wasn't about making a Tilter per se you see the site has some good Engg references if you go thru it. Adaptations (not copy) might be useful. Good engg isn't of resources alone you see. Ah, i see a kart getting made the first time!
I've no say on your non IIT background, hard resources or poor teachers but I did say i appreciate whatever you managed to put in. also meant a proper approach would shine more than what we see now & save from repetitive elementary modifications/corrections.

    Yes pls. & oh, Yes

Asking for trouble? who says GF's aren't anything productive.

Ok., then perhaps a Space shuttle please, like someone here wanting me to expect from students.
    cheers

thanks,if you cant help then please waste your time elsewhere!

I have built a v twin 250cc High speed Go kart (5 speed MT), showcased in one of the threads in xbhp too. I had also published a research - information paper on the same. Search for Hemank Dabhade on google. you will come up with a few publication results. one of them. If you need any help, lemme know. I'm based in Pune,

Keep bodywork to a minimum. Do get bumper bars fitted to make sure minimum damage comes to the steering, and the front wheels.

from the looks of the final drive it seems as if this thing is extremely short geared not too god on a kart as it limits speed also what about brakes

There will be many vids after we complete it.

Will do,but we are out of budget and dont get much time,so would complete it first and run it and see for solutions for the problems we face.
but will surely do a bodywork on it when we have money, time, tools(dont have the tools for the bodywork, not even a aviator/tin snip)

Sadly I didnt think about gear ratio when I started building it,dont know how and from where I got the sprockets!
Can you tell me what will be a good gear ration for this? for too speed and for good pick-up(will keep 2 sprockets if needed[change when needed])
Will see the gear ratio of the current setup tomorrow, will also install brakes tomorrow! Will reduce the gap between the two front wheels(track) if needed(i guess I have to shorten it!)

^^ for gearing you can mix and match various bike sprockets. But first see what the current gearing is like. then get into it. Generally a 1:3 would suffice.

Yeah, will run it first and then will look into other bikes sprockets.
