          • How were the performances of Nana and Manoj?

            Comment

            • ^^ Manoj Vajpayee did excellent job amongst all the actors. Other's like Nana, Ajay D, Naseruddin shah were under used heavily. Ranbir and Kat, forget them.

One more overhyped movie to waste the bucks on! It has been absolute annoying and un-expected from a maker of a movie like GANGAJAL.

                1. Too many cooks spoil the food. Same thing with rajneeti. There are so many characters that, the story holding them could not support it.
                2. Un-nessecary love scenes and emotional drama which has spoiled the seriousness of the movie.
                3. No character was well organized or potrayed.
                4. Too many twists in that cant be digested.
                5. No stuff to hold the spectator to the seat.
                6. Ranbir has never show the intensity that was expected in the character. Katrina was OK at end of the film.

Except some good performance from Manoj Bajpai, there is nothing to talk about the movie. I dint liked it at all may be because I had seen an excellent movie in telugu (PRASTHANAM http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/421694-post1650.html) with similar context which was made just under 3 crores and no big starcast.
I was expecting naseeruddin shah's character to come back in the later part of film. Charcters like Nana patekar, Naseerudding shah, Ajay devgan were under-utilized.

Verdict: Watch it only if you dont have any other options.
2/5. 1.5 for Manoj Bajpai and 0.5 for the Nana paterkar and Ajay devgan.

PS: Added to this, AC wasnt working properly and pepsi that was not cold was mixed with water by the theatre guyz.
Thumbs down to Talkie Town, Hyderabad.

                Prince of Persia:
No idea of the what game is, I loved the movie a lot. Watched it twice already. Story was good, Humor was spot on and with decent graphics. And Great work by cast.
                4/5 for it.

                How is Karate Kid?
I really dont know what say! "Prince of Persia" you gave 4/5 and Rajneeti according to you sucked?

Prince of Persia was an average movie, which you can watch and forget. The hero could not even do justice to the role. Where as "Rajneeti" was a very well crafted, well planned movie. Handling so much talent at the same time is no small deal. Everyone did justice to their roles except Katrina Kaif (I think so).

Manoj was the best hands down but then again its was the role he was playing and he played it to perfection. Nana did his job well, Ajay played his role to perfection too. And Ranbir, i would rate this performance as his best till date

I was really impressed by the way it resembled modern Mahabharat, and it was a welcome surprise. Direction was really worth applauding and the bomb blast scene was played to perfection.

There were few flaws, and according to me they could be easily ignored.

Rest .. Eveyone had its own perception but i just couldn't digest you appreciating "Prince of Persia" more then "Rajneeti"

You said Ranbir's best performance, i say one of the worst. I liked him in Wake-up Sid, but in Raajneet he was the most overdosed actor. Except Manoj, i will say this again no one managed to do a more than satisfactory job. I expected some mind-boggling performances from NANA and AJAY, but Nana has no words\impressive dialogues to say(which is his power) and so did the Ajay was not given a role that he could do justice to.

Prince of Persia entertained me all along the movie, thats what we go for most of the time right?

Where as Rajneeti made me bored! And yeah..I would definetly like to forget Rajneeti. As I already said..reason is that I had watched a way better movie than this with similar context, if I use that movie as benchmark..Rajneeti is big no for me.

Well .. I totally disagree. Without even saying anything Nana did an amazing job. Another role he played in the movie "Tum Milo To Sahi" is equally admirable.

                          • Saw invictus. I liked the movie. Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela was worth the watch. It is based on a true story and stars Matt Demon who as usual does a stellar job!
