Movie name : IP MAN



Wing Chun grandmaster Ip cements his reputation after defeating a roving band of kung fu masters who have come to his village to challenge him and the other martial arts masters. But his devotion to the martial arts results in tension and discontent with his wife. When the Japanese occupy his hometown of Foshan during the Sino-Japan war, Ip is forced to work as a coolie in a factory and participate in brutal sparring matches for the enemy's amusement. He demonstrates his superior fighting skills by defeating his opponents despite being heavily outnumbered and wins the admiration of the Japanese Colonel, Mr. Miura, who challenges Ip to a championship fight. The outcome of the match inspires the Chinese villagers to rise up and defeat their oppressors.

My rating : awesome action---Donnie yan can land a half a dozen punches to your face before you can say KUNG-FU .

I have been wanting to watch this. This weekend's target.
Last weekend we watched a marathon of Rocky. It feels amazing as always!

I have this my movie in my system for quite a while. Now thanks to you i have got a good reason to watch it.

Watched District 9 and Terminator 4(Director's Cut): Bluray Versions

Awesome movies and the Terminator 4 has got a superb story plot and the special effects were breathtaking not to mention the sound-effects. Best Terminator franchise next to T2:Judgment Day

PS:The Moto-Terminators(Ducatis) were awesome!!

You wont be dissapointed i watched IPMAN 2 recently and its a good film not a lot of action like the 1st one but Donnie yen proves he is also a great actor (He can literally talk with his eyes).

Its khan ho song what are you waiting for? .Man i like this guy so much if i dont see his film as soon as they are out my brain will explode.

My rating :8/10 Right mix of action,comedy and a solid acting makes this fun to watch .

Visually stunning. Well shot. But... an over the top performance by Abhishek bachhchan, a meandering storyline, unnecessary songs and very average dialogues. Ash is stunning and gives an amazing performance, but Abhishek, Ravi Kishan, Govinda and Vikram ham it up.

ok then is it watchable?? I mean the action sequences etc etc & is it worth watching??

If you can sit through patiently through the unnecessary/boring/useless stuff, its watchable for its sheer scale and technical wizardry in camera work.

Exactly what I had to say. I didn't think it's worth a watch; still I went ahead and sat through the 'torture'!

Myrating : Crappy stunts makes this a crappy film ---I mean the stunts are UNBELIEVABLE (read flying a tank by firing it)--even rajinikanth will be shocked watching the stunts in this film.

Kids movie i will give it 3/10.

Only a sucker wouldn't have turned to crime and this is exactly how naive teen Rocket (Alexandre Rodrigues) views himself. His attempts in illegal activity fail as he finds potential victims too friendly. Equally unsuccessful in love, he regularly fails to lose his virginity. Blood spills throughout the streets of the Ciudad de Deus as gang leader Li'l Ze (Leandro Firmino da Hora) is challenged by local druglords and a gang of pre-teens known as the Runts. Rocket shoots all of this action with his weapon of choice, a camera. Director Fernando Meirelles combines visual flashiness with dark history in telling the story of three decades of unrest in underground Rio de Janiero. Technically flawless, the Brazilian film uses a rapid-cutting style to flash back and forth in time. Cinematographer Cesar Charlone shoots with an overexposed glow in a film that may seem numb to violence, but reveres photography. Director Meirelles was assisted by Katia Lund, a filmmaker who had previously shot in the Rio ghettos


Rating : One of the best films of this decade

9/10 a must watch

The movie was really bad, i still didn't understand the logic behind those unwanted songs, slow motion scenes and really bad direction. The Movie had a good subject to deliver but it dragged a long way thus left the audience move out before the climax.
The only thing which was worth watching were the locations and nothing else.

Watched "MAKE IT HAPPEN"

Nice movie with some nice dances, loved the last track that is played during the credits.

And RAVAAN sucked, it was worse than DIL SE.

I only loved two things about the DIL SE movie, CHAIYYA CHAIYYA and AYE AJNABI.

TOO bad RAAVAN didnt had even one.

Too late for you man!this is one of top ranked movies in imdb list,you should have watched it long before,although this movie is my sys for quite some time,i didnt get the time to watch it,will watch it after finishing my holiday season
