GrindhouseOriginally posted by Aparajith View PostReservoir Dogs is my favorite. More than that the KillBill movies, especially KillBill - 2!!!! Only Quentin can make a movie so gory....
eathproof was more of a chick flick Tarantino style. Besides the epic lapdance scene, I would that give that movie a pass. Its the only Tarantino movie that I could say is not that good.
Hell Ride, too, was an awesome movie by Tarantino.
5th more than made up for it.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostSomebody said SAW and here i am...I am a huge fan of the movie franchise!!

I can't say Hostel is a series. The first one was real good. The second one was a horrible effort; they tried to take out a sequel too fast.Originally posted by Technocrat View PostIs the SAW series similar to the Hostel series?
SAW is more gory, and in a different level.
Psychologically bewildering $hit.

I think i'm going to be an outcast on this discussion, i've never actually watched any of the Saw or Hostel franchise but they seem to be pretty popular nor have i wanted to watch any of those, but somehow i get bored with gore pretty easily
Saw "The Purple Rose of Cairo" today by "Woody Allen" simply blew me away, if any of you get the chance to watch this movie i suggest you don't miss it, what a great movie simply moves you along with the characters, Mia Farrow is almost magical and simply is adorable throughout the movie with her benign innocenceI'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

Those people who tell you not to take chances
They are all missing on what life is about
You only live once so take hold of the chance
Don't end up like others the same song and dance

^^ no dude.. it's no where close to comedy, it's actually on subject of PARALLEL UNIVERSE.. time travel n stuff.. but unlike other such movies.. it's surprisingly catchy and interesting. Those people who tell you not to take chances

+1. I found it really good, because I went in expecting a typical Ashton Kutcher comedy, but its completely the opposite.Originally posted by MotorBreath! @ELD: Butterfly effect is an actual theory based on Chaos theory. It says that something as small as the motion of a butterfly's wings (flapping) could have ripple effects so great that it can alter the change in the universal system.
The movie is well written and it keeps you guessing. I would recommend it.
Butterfly Effect 2 is also well written, but there is nothing new it adds to the concept. It is just another story like Butterfly Effect 1. And no, it don't have Ashton Kutcher, a lot of B grade actors.

Psychologically bewildering, mind numbing, an unwell minds product, worse than watching child shitting on roadies and someone actually picking it up( 1st task-shit collecting) $hit!!!

Yeah i'm familiar with Chaos theory, the Kamal Hassan's latest Dasavatharam was also based on this topic only, just that it was very poorly interpreted, since we are talking about science related movies, i would also suggest people to go and watch "Space Odyssey" by "Stanley Kubrick", it was directed on 1968 a whole year before the first landing on the moon, really tells about the directors foresight into the futureOriginally posted by pranay View Post@ELD: Butterfly effect is an actual theory based on Chaos theory.
