How many have watched "300" (not "Meet the Spartans" ), "The Pursuit of Happiness" and "Abhiyum Naanum"? Excellent movies...
300 and Pursuit of Happiness were awesome movies. The last 30mins of Pursuit of Happiness is just mind blowing, Will smith did an excellent job

    Some movies worth watching
Pan's Labyrinth - The best fantasy movie i have ever seen
Perfume, the story of a murderer - A masterpeice
Ship of theseus - As good as indian cinema can get

      Anyone hooked on tv series?

      A few suggestions,

Da vinci's Demons - only 8 episodes in the first season but a class apart
The black list - currently airing.keeps you hooked.
Sleepy hollow - currently airing - very decent adaption
Boardwalk empire - 4th season going on . The pilot was directed by martin scorsese. Amazing series. Only drawback is its a little slow. Steve buscemi steals the show
House of cards - pilot directed by david fincher. Better if you binge watch all the episodes back to back. Kevin spacey kicks some serious butt..

I too watch the blacklist (James Spader is remarkable as always, IMO the best at the moment), da vinci's demon (I find this just as good as the sherlock series, can't wait for the next season) and House of Cards.

Apart from these: Arrow ( started loving it even more after they decided to stick closer to the DC story line)

I forgot to mention Marvel Agents of Shield. Its not that great but it can pass your time.

The ones which om NOT watching ( waiting for the season to end so as to binge watch them) are Homeland, white collar, Mentalist , person of interest and Dracula.

I didn't enjoy Agents of Shield much, hence stopped watching

Already watching Mentalist, POI and White Collar. Haven't yet started with Homeland Season 3 will start soon

Try Covert Affairs... that's another favourite of mine

Forgot to mention Franklin and Bash. The first 2 seasons are great but the third is a little fizzled out. Nevertheless its enjoyable.

Some movies I watched in the past few weeks:

                          Agora (2009)
                          Arjun - Warrior Prince (2012) : Animation
                          August Osage County (2013)
                          Blue Jasmine (2013)

                          Filth (2013)
                          Lars and Real Girl (2007)
                          Philomena (2013)
                          Prisoners (2013)

Bold ones are better than rest. There are other couple of dozens not worth mentioning (e.g. Gravity ...)

The past couple of weeks I watched X-Men: Days of the future past and Edge of Tomorrow. I found Edge of Tomorrow to be better than X-men.
