Going by the various reviews on the net, the trailers on youtube and ofcourse our very own in-house short reviews, it surely seems 'District 9' is going to be a real fun ride. However, I wonder how come it has not yet released in Hyderabad. These days, a movie releases in the whole of India on the same date, generally.:)Comment

It was supposed to be released yesterday here in Bangalore, but the theatres have pulled it. Strange because I saw the movie in a preview show in the theatre itself. Actually the movie feels so real that it does not appear to be a Sc-Fi one. No too many graphics, not too much action, not too much senti's...but pure entertainment.
I am sure there is a sequel to it...after 3 years when christopher johnson(alien) returns.

Just back from 'District 9'. Real good movie with some brilliant cinematography. The shaky hand-held shots is what provides the movie it's realistic feeling. Enjoyed every bit of the flick. Good story, solid acting and enjoyable script and action makes it all very believable and seemingly genuine.
My verdict: District 9 is a must watch, I say!:)Comment

short review:
once in a particular time,there comes a film that makes u wolf-whistle..well this is the kind of film i was expecting from a long time ..this movies goes chop,chop,chop...wont let u to give rest to ur mind until ur out of the theatre..as they said in reviews ..really true...it takes almost 30 min to get used to the film..unlinke other films in this film ..there is no spoon-feeding play...all seems to be like a jigsaw ..which is thrown on the table..and we have to reshape them..
characters justified thier roles...and above all CHARLIE was F%$%in awesome...this film depicts the reality..at first it seems that there is no heroism..but thats true...it happens same in the real life..
and if u enjoy watching johar's,farh's,ghai ..and all those family funda films..this movie is not for u ..definetely..
and if u enjoyed..a wednesday,black,omkara ..and such type of films..dont miss this one..
