    @Riaz & Mukks: you guys seem to be bigtime CG haters. Ofcourse there was bad acting & too much space given to a stupid human, but CG was awesome IMO.

    The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

      ^^ im a CG Artist Bro,, its my bread and butter,, im not complaining bout CG,, CG is must in todays movies but it should not become the movie, see the dark knight or LOTR , ull never know where they used CG or not, couse u r fully in the movie, the screenplay and characters take u with it,, CG must be used to help to achieve such effect,, even a fully animated movie like wall-E have more soul than these craps...

      no offense to those who liked it, its a pop corn movie,, everybody have there on opinion! Wht we r seeing today is an over-use of technology, instead of being more artistic and bringing new ideas to life,,,

            hmm i agree with u partly bro,see u cant compare darknight or LOTR with this movie ,they are based on a different themes,they have a story and they concentrate more on the stroy rather than CG's,CG's are used to achieve an effect which is needed as per story as u said.but these kinda movies are different they do not have any strory,i mean what story can u expect in such "earth destruction" themed films, theme itself is to showcase the CG's....movie is based completely on that,director wants to show what situation would be if destruction takes place.
            as u said,these kinda movies are indeed pop-corn movies,watch it on BIG screen,and enjoy

              Naa, Not at all. I like CGs. But they are icing on the cake, not the cake.

              Movie like Matrix, is perfect example.

                Am a CG artist, so all I need is the sweet icing. I like to see it more n more (good or bad) as its mah bread n butter. But yes GOOD is always welcome. And not everyone can become Larry and Andy Wachowski, not everyone can create the Matrix Mania
                So just grab your pop-corn on the weekends n enjoy, thats what I do on weekends if am not riding.

                    Saw 6 movies in 2 days

                    1) Hangover - What should i say abt this.. Its a complete laugh riot..

                    2) Rouge Assasin - Awesome action it has got Jet Li and Jason Statham were rocking.

                    3) Dragonball Evolution - Goku's kung fu skills were good.

                    4) Bolt - All in all a good movie, its about a Dog who thinks he is super dog doing all kinds of stunt sequences in a TV serial, but in real life is just a normal dog(this he doesn't know but realizes it when he is lost somewhere)

                    5) Halo wars - Good animation movie. A short movie though, overall didnt like it coz the picturisation and cinematography is not done properly.

                    6) 2012 - Everyone who has seen it must b knowing abt it..

                          @ALL: Watched Final Fantasy 7 : Advent Children in Japnese though. It was around 20th time I guess. The Japnese CG from 90s is yet to be beaten by Hollywood.

                          Spider-Rating : 10/10...

                          Also Watched Dreamwork's short movie - Monster's Vs Aliens : the Mutated Pumpkins from Distant Planet

                          Spider-Rating : 8/10...

                              watched 2012 movie, not to offend but i must say that it has the a full lot of fake graphics effects which looks really fake<seems that director has faked me!
