  • ...because change is the only constant.

Over the past few years, xBhp’s journey has been a very fast paced one – fast and steady! There have been many changes along this journey that have helped us, the xBhp community, to evolve as the biggest force in the Indian motorcycling scenario. These changes have helped us to reach a new audience and to gain a foothold in an unknown territory – the print world. Since the launch of the xBhp magazine, a lot has changed in the digital world too, and we do believe strongly that future lies in the digital only, the future is in xBhp.com. And that it is high time that we speed up if we want to stay ahead in the race.

So as while riding motorcycles, it is sometimes necessary to drop a gear drop a gear and momentarily also drop the speed a little bit, you saw us slowing down a bit 2 days ago when we shut down the forums. But as we promised, we will be back with more power and more torque, here we are – Ready to be faster than ever.
In this change, we have primarily upgraded to the latest version of vBulleitin, which would mean that your xBhp experience would be faster and smoother. It will also give us more flexibility to add a lot more features during the later stages of this continuing process of change.

And while you explore the new xBhp, let us tell you that this software change is just the first step in our efforts to completely overhaul the entire platform. The next step would be the complete facelift, i.e., you can expect a lot of cosmetic changes to make xBhp more visually appealing. But things don’t stop here, a lot more features and functionalities will be added in the future as we move along.
All your favourite threads and posts are here, we haven’t removed anything as of now. But just in case you find something is missing or is not working properly, do let us know here on this thread so that we can take the corrective measures.

...because change is the only constant.

Xbhp New design: Thoughts, compliments & critique

Good to see the site is back up.

Noticed that we have 'Like button' now. Thats a good addition.

Number of smileys, sadly, haven't increased.

But the biggest let down are the fonts. I somehow didn't like them.

Earlier the forum (talkies page) looked clean and well spread out but now it all looks cluttered.

Or maybe I am resistant to change

Mods: Can we have a poll added to this thread?

    New forum design: Like/Dislike?

      The new Xbhp!

Wow!! The all new xBhp of 13, Sept 2012. Its great to have changes.
I liked the new outfit of the forum a lot. Searched for place to record my feedback, and if there is already a thread, please merge this.

The individual brown bars that just holds 'threads/posts' and 'last post' above each individual section is annoying. Atleast the title of that particular part could be shifted above into the brown bar, as we look to the left side of the pafe as we scroll down and having a lot of empty bars on the left end is confusing.

      Apart from that..,
      new editor,
      new smilies,
      auto-save feature,
      international forum like looks
are some of the cool things i noted and liked a lot!
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Please use this thread for all the discussions. I see a lot of new threads being created by members

        Suggestions from my end
        1) We need the xtracker
        2) Thread name under thread display options needs to be in bigger font or in bold. Currently it looks a little too cluttered and one needs to really look hard to find the thread that he wants to visit

The Header is not matching with rest of the UI. I think we can use UI elements similar to the one defined on Header.

The xTracker will definitely make a comeback, its just the matter of time. We are working on it!

and as stated above, the next stage will be the cosmetic changes so you can expect a lot tweaking to make it look better.

Excellent "OVERHAULIN" here. Expecting a little more smileys with "thumbs up" thumbs down, smileys. All in excellent revamp!

                  1. Can we get the old smileys back, please Excellent smileys they were and more can be added as in BCT Touring. Especially I miss my old "cool" smiley. Just loved that smiley.
                  2. The blue strip that displays time 05:37 and the note icons, can be embossed with white stylish xBhp logo as a default for more aesthetic look, like in old interface.
                  3. The overall blue color can be a little darker for a more differentiated look.

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  THE END

Glad to see the site in an entirely new attire. New buttons, new styles everything looks cool. Hope to see some more cosmetic changes. The white background and the small letters in a way is making it difficult to keep reading for long..

Am i only person who's facing lil trouble with fonts ?? they are kind of small and not much appealing.

on the other side , i liked the overall colour scheme , its very pleasant on eyes

The posts are not that clear, can the font styles or the background color be tweaked ?
now that there s a like button is it possible to include unlike button as well
Was that theme switcher there in Old xbhp
Since there s a mobile theme no need to tapatalk right ?
And are there options for themes ? like xbhp-dark,xbhp-default,xbhp-light etc
