Re: My 2 worst experience with the Traffic Police and RTO personals.

yesterday i was on my bike, as usual fully geared up and cruising. its already in everyone's mouth that its time to amend 50 km/hr rule for bikes. I was doing between 50-60 km/hr on an open highway.
Highway patrol signaled me and i stopped.
the first thing was, he tried to take off my bike's key and i was fast enough to get it first and put it in pocket.
Next he asked who where,. etc, etc. i replied politely.
Next he asked to remove helmet. I just asked if he really wants this as i had specs, balaclava and gloves, above all helmet strapped and buckled.
He insisted. I said it would be tough, but started to unhook.
upon hearing this other 3 fellows joined and started commenting. 1 said, do you know what was your speed? I said, yes around 50-60km/hr.
Next, why you want all these when others dont want these gears? dont try to win by words. you understand, etc, etc...
I said my identity and showed my license, and i put back everything, then zoomed off, cursing those basterds...
      felt bad of those illiterates.
I'm a responsible rider. It doesn't matter what you ride, but what matters is how you ride.

Hey don't call me Sir! I think im younger than u.

And back to the topic, the policeman said the truth. But I dunno about the actual fine for that. But still there was mistake on ur side. So actually u did a bad thing(saying a lie that ur from press). Lots of them do this and don't get caught. Its ur fate that u got caught. If you are got caught not wearing a helmet, then will u do the same press act to that police?

You do say a lie in order to avoid paying money, then what is the difference between you and the policeman? If the policeman asks the exact fine then its not corruption, he is doing his duty. IF the policeman asks too much money or if he asks money for being proper, then its corruption

P.S: There are good policemen too! And I'm not bashing you. Just think about it!

            Alright fine... dude.
Now I don't care about good policeman or a bad policeman the color of money changes every officer into corruption. Of course I said a lie why should I pay up to that guy my hard earned money cause he saw a bakra coming on a new bike so thought he could grab some cash?
Of course I would question that policemen too who catch me without helmet who himself doesn't wear a helmet and zip past no bike zones over the flyovers.
Dude rather than correcting me think about the daily corrupt money they make by catching those truckers and motorists for no reason OK.
            Cheers

Ask that policeman to log in to xBhp, we'll ask him the same.
As a rule, any *new* ride on temp. reg. plates can't ride for more than 70 kms or 28 days, whichever comes 1st.

If you'd achieved either of these, I won't blame the cop.

Dude I know what you mean. I appreciate and trust me am not a law violator. I hadn't even crossed 45kms on odo and he caught me up saying not more than 60 km when I said I too know the law. He was surely trying to get his hands on my wallet for I know this policeman he always has duty at that stretch. And lol all I told was a lie about being in the media and nothing else when he tried to bully me saying not more than 30 kms on a tc reg. And as soon as I said am from the media the 30 kms changed to 60 kms now you guys decide who is wrong here. OK he was charging me for not using a helmet I would definitely admit my fault but at the same time would question him too where is your dam helmet?

Ok, if what you say is 100% true, then he was at fault too. But, if you knew that the legal limit is 60kms and not 30 as told by him, you should have stood up on your point rather than bluffing about the media. You could have landed in trouble if he asked for a valid ID proving the same.
You can always ask them for their helmet and take their picture. I was once (and only once so far) caught speeding near Nandi hills, BLR. I was doing 75+ as per my speedo and the snapshot from the interceptor said the same. But, there was a cop approaching near the interceptor without a helmet. By the time I payed the fine (with receipt) he reached there. I asked the officer in charge in the interceptor why his colleague was without a helmet? Both apologized for the same. I know he'd continue doing the same, but it gave me and my ego some satisfaction.
