... Even I thought I was the only one. Thanks to XBHP, I now know like minded and like experienced people.

YES...YES....YES... It definitely rains after I wash my bike. . Its been 6 years of Scootying and 2 years of Pulsaring. 9 in every 10 washes, this happens. Just to clarify, its acceptable in rainy season. But its like 2 weeks, it does not rain. I am like Ok lets wait for tomorrow to wash the dirty bike. And then I am like OK 3 weeks, its been sunny. I even see the weather forecast online to be sure. OK, Lets give it for a wash. And the next day, its all sunny, by afternoon the clouds pile up and by evening its raining. Even I wonder... HOW????

And if that wasnt enough, It was NOV 2015 end now. No possibility of rain. No weather forecast predicting rains. I gave my bike for washing and LO......

OT: Its be been a horrendous 3 days for us Chennaites. No Power, No water, No cell tower, We had to crave for bread and milk from the nearby shops, We couldnt come out of our house for 2 days. Since no power, We had to use our water very carefully. These are some of the small issues we faced. But the scale of damage in certain areas are unimaginable. We are happy we had homes and we let people from the nearby street whose houses were inundated to stay for the night, shared what food we had with them.

Some lost their loved ones, some are still finding for the missing ones. I hope this situation never arises for anybody.

Those who all prayed for us, I sincerely thank them from bottom of my heart.

Everyone in Chennai & other parts of TN going through misery are in our prayers and thoughts. The images on news channels send a shiver down the spine every time we watch

Honestly the Media here, isnt covering much, which is a real shame.
It really pains to hear such things from a Metro city. I can understand your Pain. We, the people of Odisha had such fate in 1999 Cyclone, when everything was blacked out for 15-20 days. I still remember standing in queue to get kerosene for Lantern.
We are with you brothers. It will heel soon.

We all are praying for our fellow brothers and sisters in chennai. If power and water goes for 1 day, our lives becomes totally helpless and pathetic. Can't even imagine the loss for so many days now. And most importantly--the loss of human lives. Everyday, we watch these news and reports on news channels and in newspapers,
it just feels so bad and helpless that every year, our beloved countrymen and women have to go through such disaster and we can't do anything effective to avoid it. I think our govt. must do something really effective very quickly now, especially in weather technology, so, as to predict these
natural calamities as early as possible. It feels so bad, that almost every year, our beloved brothers and sisters from coastal regions loose their lives, homes,
livelyhood etc. and still we can't do anything precautionary to avoid so much loss.

Why everytime every year, the only thing we are able to do is recover. Why can't we do precautionary measures ? I know, no technology is full-proof, but at least,
80-90 %, so that, we can avoid so much human loss. I hope, people will have strong heart and determination in chennai to recover from this disaster and get their
lives on track as soon as possible. And I sincerely hope, that our govt. will do something really strongly and effectively in order to improve weather forecasting to
avoid so much loss in the near future.
