    Two realities of every biker.

Before marriage--> you are always a kid in your parents eyes, no matter how safe biker you are or how much you convince them, they will always think you as a kid only,i have seen the fate of good riders life ends over some ass**** riders who make you close to death for no fault of yours and later your parents do suffer, as we all know we make sure to go at speed of 40/50 but somewhere inside we all wish to drive with full throttles to test our machines.

Secondly after marriage---> your wife will never allow you touring as she hates the traffic and the galli wale idiots who show off and break their bones..

But if you are lucky and your wife loves touring as much as you do than its a good idea.

So in the end its the concern which they have for us for which we are stucked.

I too face the same problem. I just say that I am going on a ride, I don't take permission as I know I won't get it.

                      Nice topic Thaker..

Even I face the same issue.

Im 23 and working in an IT firm.
Though we feel how matured enough we are in capability of taking decisions my parents doesn't let mine come in their final opinion.

Whenever there is a propoganda about any Intercity Bike Ride by me ,they refrain me from going to any place that day on bike thinking that I would skid away from their eyes for that ride.

Even though my dad did many trips off-state too..but he over dominates on me saying that the traffic has become so horrible these days and though you take 'n' safety precautions there is always a death threat from the other side.

Thats why I have been doing what is called "WHITE LIES" from past few months and its been doing great until I get caught
The rising petrol prices burn your pocket not your riding soul!

its actually the pposite with me..

dad kinda says "its your life, do what you want but dont take decisions that you will regret later." in simpler words "fcuk off with your own life"
mom says "you are still a kid so take the golden cage instead (read cars)"

so for me its like 'ask dad and then ask him to tell it to mom later.'..

                                First analyze the problem ...

why parents don;t like there kids [read as matured also] on 2 wheels ?

-- How many of u seen ppl [all sort of age, especially younger] driving overspeed/rash/reckless/brainless/stupid/insane ?
--> i see such ppl daily , infact every time i step out at least one such ppl/incident

Now how can any parents allow there kids to drive like that .. no-parents will... its not becouse there kids will drive like that .. but for the fact .. there kids may suffer from the ill act of other stupid drivers ....

i really thank to the govt and its policies of on import of powerful bikes... otherwise i can't imagine how many ppl might have afforded and pawed the way for irresponsible driving [even i can see many ppl driving insanely with costliest/powerful bike like R15].

Solution: beyond solutions this problem is
                                Nothing is Impossible ...
