@Conrad: Sure, will intimate Dragon regarding the update of the funds. Good to see the funds is coming up. My girl has also collected some clothes from friends and relatives and will be handing over to you soon. I think I should remind all the guys regarding clothes. Will send an sms regarding this.
As for others reading this thread, yesterday myself, Rituraj, Pinku, Ramesh and Conrad went for a "window-shopping" to estimate the rates of some of the items especially the shawls, socks and wollen gloves. We had fun bargainig with the shop owners though we bought none yet. We bargain from about 5 shops promising them that if we should buy from their shop we shall take 60 pieces. We are leaving the choices of the shawls, gloves and socks to the girls to do the final shopping.
And so here are the findings.
1. Average quality winter shawl of three types: Rs.100/- each
2. Wollen gloves: Rs.20/- each
3. Socks : Rs.18/- each
4. Rice bag of 50Kgs : Rs.800/-

We shall be heading towards the market this evening to get the necessary items for donations and will upload the details.
Yesterday, nine of us namely Conrad, Ramesh, Abby, Rituraj, Paomin, Ador Hiru, Ema and myself went for a visit to Fernando Speech and Hearing Center located at 3kms from Umniam Lake to meet incharge of the institution. There are about 200 "Special Students" who are physically challenged. Only a limited of them were spending the Season in the institute while most of them had left to spend some time with their families in the villages.
We had actually planned to play few Christmas songs but lets see how things will work.

Shopping for the Old Age Home is complete!
Items purchased 60 numbers of a shawl cum blanket, 60 pairs of wollen socks and 60 numbers of winter cap.
The remaining will be diverted to purchase of stationery and daily used commodities for Fernando Speech and Hearing Center.
