    you are right bout the the 600D not being a semi-pro SLR.

    it's more of an (high-end ) entry level DSLR.

      I always wished canon should have retained the 400D or 450D instead of the 1000D or 1100D!!! or re-branded the 400D or 450D as 1000D and 1100D. But I guess the Canon folks might have been worried that 400D or 450D will eat into the sales of 500D and 550D respectively!!

            sony cybershot

            my 3 year old sony cybershot facing a problem now. when i am taking stills from out side or bright area, the pictures are not clear. this problem comes just before a month. i'm attaching some pictures.
            pls help me. what is the problem?

              Finally bought Canon 550d for 35k from a canon distributor, Fort area. Even i heard the price around 34k in some shops around fort area. Some of them are replacing the batteries, Memory card of the original one with fake and selling the camera at low price.

                            you can try for canon 1000D...its the perfect equipment for entry level enthus....you can check my collection and the output of pics...its in the signature...
                            apart you get the 1000D for 22,500rs only!!!! since your budget is 30k i assume you have 8k left which can be used to buy a extra zoom lens too!!!!
