Yeah, that's not piracy at all. Ok.

        • NEWS: Nokia N86 8 Megapixel Announced - expected by June, at Euro 375+.

          - A new, better Carl Zeiss lens with 8 Megapixel Resolution
          - First 8 megapixel cameraphone to sport a wide 28mm lens
          - First 8 MP having Adjustable Aperture (to choose betw. brightness and sharpness, F2.4/3.2/F4.8)
          - A NEW dual LED flash with effective 3.5m range
          - 8GB of internal memory + a microSDHC card slot
          - a 2.6-inch OLED screen (240 x 320 pixels, QVGA, 16 Million Colors)
          - FM transmitter
          - Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity
          - 3.5mm audio jack and TV out jack too
          - Quad-band GSm and tri-band HSDPA support
          - Dual slide screen
          - Dedicated music/gallery/gaming keys.
          - Stereo Speakers.

Despite all the features added here, I say that compared to N85, it only has that 8.1 MP and some software/ internet support extra... That's it! What else? Damn you, Nokia, hiding stuffs in your labs, are you?

But good "expected" pricing for a new release - Euro 375. Expected by April-June.

Lekin Touchscreen ke alawa kya chahiye? Only touchscreen is not everything?.

Anyways, if good camera touchscreen is your priority then you can go for Samsung F480, LG KM900, etc.

A 3.2 Megapixel Samsung F700 would save some cash, alongwith a 3.2 inch big touchscreen ...

For good camera with 2 SIM Support, Samsung D980 should be fine ...

For all around needs, 5800 is good enough. Remember, 5800 has Symbian, which is a very CAPABLE OS for mobiles, you can add many softwares later on...

For business type needs, HTC Touch, Touch Viva, P3400, etc. might match the pricing you mentioned. I can't be sure about the HTCs, didn't use them much.

But if touchscreen Feel & Response is a priority, LG KP500 Cookie is the way...

Hope this helps, Your friend can think himself which he feels is best, based on his needs ... Good luck!

                - 600 Mhz Processor with 128 MB RAM

A Wide improvement over older Omnia. I really appreciate Samsung as a manufacturer!

I say that these 8 MP sets are not in the same league for comparison, obviously one is touchscreen & other is not...

Still, for Nokia N86 vs Samsung Omnia HD, My vote goes to Samsung Omnia HD! What do you say guys?

yeah, obviously, in MOST DUAL-SIMS, you can switch one of them offline if need arises...

in fact, You can disable both and still run the set for Camera, Music, etc... & save some battery life at the same time.

Well, Samsung had some of them released recently, like D980, D880 Duos, D780, etc. That's it from Samsung.

Some other good manufacturers of Dual Sim Sets, are Philips & WND, precisely the WND Duo 2000. Apart from them, there are Chinese too, although, they may not have the offline option ... & other issues too.

                        Doesn't even have that much.

Apparently, the sensor is good enough only for 6.1MP and the rest is interpolated.

                        BTW, here's the next Jesusphone:

                        12.1MP Exmor camera module
                        3.5 inch 16:9 format touchscreen
Symbian Foundation OS with SE frontend (S60 V5 in the prototype)
                        WiFi, GPS, the usual stuff.

                        What more does one need?

Omnia is uselessly costly, HD would be even costlier. I will wait for Palm Pre and iphone 2 this june

                              • @ synn bro: Well, I planned to announce this set here today, alongwith 8 MP W995, but you were quicker.

Regarding N86 being 6.1 MP, I think this is nearly impossible in Retail Version. The Carl Zeiss Lens itself clearly marks 8 MP. Your observation maybe caused due to:-->

                                1. Aperture not set properly, may result in less details ...
                                2. Pre release status of the Prototype you might have tested ...

I mean, if Nokia does it actually, people will sue them so bad, that they'll be replacing the sold sets for years together .... Nokia can't take such a risk, can they?
