    Computer keyboards

    HI guys....

i have a 2007 model intex keyboard which was working good until yesterday... suddenly some of keys [around 7 to 8 keys] stopped working and i had removed the screws, cleaned the dust inside and outside with soft cloth and fixed it back. But the problem still existing [2 keys working]...

Now i am typing using On-screen Keyboard [windows program].

so i am thinking of new keyboard instead of repairing this one. My friend has samsung model which was bought in 2004 which is rock solid and using heavily till now for work and also for games. we used to play madly on it

My budget around 500-1000RS [a figure not exceeding 800 will be good].

Ahhhhh... im tired... im thinking of getting one this day......

guys help..... Please suggest me some Keyboards. it took almost 25 mins to type this using mouse

and if there are no other threads, use this one for discussing about Computer Keyboards...

My dad got his new laptop a week back. He is now looking for a wireless internet access solution for office use. As network availability is limited around his office, Idea NetSetter is the only option I see.

    1. How is this NetSetter..? Speed and performance..?
    2. What are the tariff plans available..?
    3. Is there any wireless internet service from BSNL..?

got few things figured out in the meanwhile and the point you said about psu was one of them .
one thing which concerns me is the psu which i should be getting....
some say get a powerfull one like 650 to 800 watt
But official recommendation says a different story...
If you can suggest wht would be best for
    AMD Phenom X II 1090T
Asus M4A88T-M USB3 .... and may be after few months Radeon 6850

    Cheers....
Go for Corsair vx450/vx550. Stay away from Cooler Master PSUs. These are over-rated .. Even i m using VX550 for my AMD setup , and trust me , the VX550 is worth every penny. I got it for 5.2K here .

For that setup, personally, I would go for a Corsair VX450 at around rupees 3.2K. It's officially rated at only 450W, but as any computer enthusiast knows Corsair has a tendency to underrate the the power ratings, unlike Cooler Master who does the opposite and bloats the actual power that their PSUs can supply. Further information on the VX450 can be found here Corsair VX450
and for the Cooler Master Extreme Power 500 Plus Cooler Master Extreme Power 500

At the lower end there's the Corsair CX430 for around 2.2K. Further reading on it at Corsair CX430

not necessarily. cabinet sizes vary like micro atx, atx tower etc.. but most home-use mobos fit for micro-atx ones.

anyway, the cabinet doesn't cost much, unless you're planning to get something fancy.

In case you ever plan to install a GPU, do not buy a cabinet that comes with a PSU. those PSU's suck.

    hoping for a quick reply

    Hi Guys,

Planning to build an amd rig, however was planning to get MB and Processor first. I currently have a ancient setup with Intel 845 MB. Is it possible just to change MB, Processor and Ram on the current cabinet. I am planning this coz i am planning to get rest of the things later.

Main question are cabinets board specific or any MB can be fit on any case.

    Thanks guys

what is this 3 year cover? warranty? how does it differ from other brands?

also do they provide a genuine Win 7 DVD along with lappy? i was told that they provide a WIN 7 DVD along...not sure whether genuine or pirated...
Go for Lenovo Z460 . Cost you 34K
Config: Intel I-3 , 4 GB ram , 14 inch screen , DOS (they will install Windows 7 ultimate for free (off course pirated )

Pros: Chiclet keyboard gives a Mac feeling .
    Very light weight and portable

Cons: Speakers are claimed to be Doby surround speakers but I felt it is just the normal speackers like all other laptops.

Of late, my laptop has started heating up a lot ! Especially when I play games. It is kinda fine if I keep it on two books so the base is not on the table.
And my games have started hanging if I play for more than 10 mins. Even Fifa 11 and Resident Evil 5 that used to run smoothly for hours earlier.
Will a laptop fan (the USB one) help ? It's not dust inside or anything.
    how old is your laptop...
me facing the same problem... Mine is over 2 years old...
I think getting the fan inside the laptop cleaned should solve the issue.
