I would like to request a DIY thread for installing a main stand (temporary) for cleaning purpose in bikes which doesn't come with a factory fitted center stand. for eg: Duke 200 doesn't have a center stand. Paddock stand is not feasible in all the scenarios. I would like to know how can I make alterations on my bike so that I can mount and dismount a center stand just for cleaning, lubing and adjusting the chain. I have seen few FZ1 which has been modified so that it can take a center stand.

I would request a DIY for cleaning the air filter on the 200 NS. Tried it last sunday but i think it requires the fuel tank to be removed so did not take the plunge.

Here's the link for your 1st query: Pulsar Do It Yourself - Engine Oil Change - YouTube
And for the engine oil filter, get the spare filter at any svc and remove the cap of the part indicated in the following pic: Click image for larger version

Remove the old filter, replace it with the new one. In case of oil spillage, top it up after you screw the filter cap back in place. But if you ask me, you can get the spare filter at the svc and ask them to do it for you. I don't think you'd have to get your hands dirty for a 5-min job.

+10! I've been trying to do it without much hassle but ended up being futile. Someone help us please!

can any one post a DIy or simple tips and tricks to perform routine maintenance and servicing the bike ourselves..the SVCs are really unreliable and skip a lot of things..

might try my hand on the scooter first and after warranty try on the bike..

Replacing the stock indicator bulbs and Brake light with LED bulbs/Strips.

Hi all, I am very new to the LED thing and for the time being I wish to replace the four indicator bulbs with LED's (Not even sure if LED bulbs or strips). I would be grateful if someone sheds some light on how to go about with minimal cutting and changes to the existing setup for Suzuki Samurai 99 model. I might at a later date change the neutral, High-beam, pilot lamp, and Oil level indicator bulbs with LED's.

                      HI all
long ago I came across a post in one of the threads(cant remember, tried searching without results) where a fellow Xbhpian has installed a digital voltmeter on his Motorcycle.
I think it was on a R15 but not sure. can anyone guide me how to do it? Just the wire connection part would suffice as I am a noob to electricals.
I has bought the voltmeter but not sure about the connections and don't want to damage any electricals with wrong wiring.
                      Please help.
                      Thank You

Guys i need to know how to replace the LED's in the Apache RTR 160 2012 edition. The LED's in the headlamp. It will be very useful as i am unable to spend 4k for replacing the headlamp just for the LED's not working as there is no repair option for them. Thanks in advance.
