@ JD: You are still lucky that ur jacket is still intact in one piece..coz i have broken zips even after a 1 day ride Yours are still cosmetic issues..

^^ the build quality of the jacket overall is ok. i got a extra zipper with it, so it helps, but no issues with the zip or anything. Just the cuffs on both sides.. and with this one hanging loose, its gonna be a matter of a few wears that it start losing more stitching and comes out more.

sheel :much has been said,debated,chewed ,spitted out & chewed again with no final outcome

same kind of communication also exists on the helmet thread & yes people have taken serious falls with daijya helmet too & it has worked fine & others have cases of helmet getting cracked even wen falling off the bike.

so all in all it is best left to the individual to decide.

I for one don't believe that it is marushim re-branded helmet

i bought the DSG phoenix jacket on the 5th from aman automobiles. ( two days before the delhi gajraula ride ). Very happy with the shop and the owner, Tapan.

I mustve worn the jacket about ten times... I find that the velcro strap on the left cuff is coming loose from the stitching on the border. ( not the velcro, but the black cloth material that is at the end of the cuff ). The black cloth is coming free at the end of the zipper, and the thread has come out.... This will pull out the rest of the cuff. Sorry but i dint expect such a sorry state of manufacture on a 5K + jacket. I have the bill with me.

@DSG rep - is there a solution to a 12 day old jacket???

Bump - im not wearing the jacket to keep it from further damage. Which is keeping me from enjoying a 5k + product that i paid for with hard earned money.

A jacket which comes with a removable waterproof liner is Alpinestars Dual Air Jacket: Alpinestars Dual Air Jacket : Black - Rs11,990.00. The liner is stored in a side back pocket
