Why are you not surprised to see this thread? Do I see a manufacturer driven poll here?Originally posted by Technocrat View PostLOL why am I not surprised to see this thread
Anyways I have voted for 650R
650R for me. Practical because heating issues are lesser with a semi faired bike. Semi faired bikes are a balance of Faired and Unfaired, hence it might cater to the needs of people who like Faired bikes and Unfaired. Been designed for road use.
I also chose a 650R because it would be a better touring companion as opposed to a SuperSport machine and it is cheaper than a 6R too. I believe they should not go the Yamaha/Suzuki/Honda way of launching supersport bikes for brand image. A practical bike, thats what we need.Last edited by silver_falcon_46; 10-30-2009, 04:29 PM.sigpic

the ZX-10R is possibly the maddest 1000 ever conceived. It has the scariest top end hit amongst all production bikes...
People who buy a ZX-10 do so because they are:
- mad
- insane
- both
But practically speaking, all 1000s are overkill for Indian roads...
If I can, I would buy a ZX-10 just to show that I have bigger balls than my neighbour (who has a R1/ Fireblade/ Gixxer 1000)

I would personally like to see the ZX6r making in.. but since the 800cc rule, I wouldn't mind the ZX10r which is very likely (a la Fireblade, R1). So voted for the ZX10r.Those people who tell you not to take chances
They are all missing on what life is about
You only live once so take hold of the chance
Don't end up like others the same song and dance

I agree Praful, I wonder why none of these manufacturers are planning to launch their do-it-all roadsters in our country. I feel these are the kind of bikes we all need. As of now I cannot think of a better bike than the ZMR or the Pulsar 220 DTSI for touring and city riding (given the conditions we face in our country)Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostI really think that the ER-6N is the most sensible and practical of the lot,
I will be very happy if Kawasaki brings in bikes such as ER-6n and Versys.
