Ninja 650R is already here. So, what's next?

It could be very beneficial for India Kawasaki Motors to launch ZX 6R next, my reasons are:

    1. It could be the only bike in its Supersports 600 category for a long time. CBR600, R6, etc. are unlikely to make it here soon...

    2. Many racers down south would prefer a legal serviceable 600 I4 from a showroom for their racing purposes. ZX 6R would go to a lot of these people.

    3. It has a tremendous fan following, no arguement with that. For 5-8 Lacs of their money, people want hellraisers, eyeturners and brain numbing machines, not some tourers from the 90's.
Of course, I'm an exception, I still love the N650R for whatever it is.

    4. After all, when R1, CBR 1000, etc. made it here despite being unpractical pieces of machinery, then what's so terribly wrong with ZX 6R?

    5. Its' "performance" works alright! It brakes hard, it handles good, it accelerates hard, it has an elaborate console! There are no weak spots in its performance, except maybe the peaky engine, at low revs.

Of course, Kawasaki people should give a book alongwith it, about "Using Supersport Bikes on Indian Roads".

What about the cruisers from Kawasaki, the VN classic and VN Voyager series. I mean they could be the next big thing from IKM.

Why not the ZZR1400 at 10lacs via CKD ???

The 2012 ZZR1400 via CKD route pls............

even a couple of months waiting time would do.

Service back up on order should be available at Bajaj PBK or Kawasaki's own stores.

Also an optional ECU for the bike to run on Indian pump gas is also necessary.

^^ I second the above suggestion, although I am pretty sure the price can be reduced further.... plus the Bajaj infrastructure would make it a very compelling buy...

Fans for ZX10R should take it to tracks for the real fun...........and the ZX14R is a bike which can be used for every kind of respectable biking including the track.

So it would not really hurt to sell the ZX10R as a CBU and the ZX14R as CKD.

Service knowledge and equipment required by both bikes would be the same for most of the time.........Bajaj won't need bothers about that in this way.

saw the videos of motorcycle USA comparing 600 cc and 1000cc bikes....the zx6r pounded the 600 even whn it was stock and also when modded wit leovinci exhaust and race-tech suspensions+ECU modded...
it truely has one of the best motors on the class

nd practically speaking zx6r and 650r are the ideal choices of the indian roads to the fact that one can utilize the bandwidth and power of the bike compared to a litre class...
i love thr racing ergos so ZX6R for me.... plus being supersport it has a well place troque distribution
                    running a 220
18000 Km i 11 months and still running
